If your going to use Fox Farm I would go with the nutrient trio pack.. its around 40 bucks...http://www.amazon.com/Fox-Farm-Soil-Nutrient-Trio/dp/B000HY2IXQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1288748599&sr=8-2

But to be honest, I don't really use the nutrients since fox farm comes rich in nutrients ----------------- let me rephrase that.. I haven't used any nutrient with my grow using Fox Farm soil. If you want to speed up you grow or give it a boost then use the nutrients. But I still bought the trio pack just incase.. ya never know, better safe than sorry. and you also posted your gonna get a 400 watt light.. do some research -- if your going to do a small closet grow then don't spend so much on a 400 watt light, or if that's the case do a 12/12 cycle.. 12 hours of light and 12 hours darkness with HPS for a small grow. I pay around 55 dollars extra on my electric bill just with the 600 watt light. Your electric provider charges by kilowatt an hour.. so find out how much they charge before investing on a ballast light. it can get hella expensive leaving a 400 watt light on for 18 hours.

Not saying the ballast and light... am saying what the electric company charges for a 400 watt light, they charge per kilowatt an hour....
so you might be looking at another 30 to 40 bucks a month on your electric bill... just want you to be aware of that... but on a 400 watt light you can have about 4 to 6 plants. But your going to need some good ventilation.. its going to get hot in that closet with a light that strong... you need to keep temp to a minimum of 85 degrees.. but 75 degrees is ideal for Marijuana plants

oh i know but thats not a bad thing seeing how its going to be snowing soon and this trailer gets colldddd and i was expecting more per month dont worry

MG is a really great brand actually but there products just arent the best for these type of plants.
I agree with you... MG is a really good brand for certain vegetables... I use it for the lemon and apple tree... I already got some tomatoes in the ground. I really got into gardening ever since I started to grow MJ, I guess you can say it's my hobby now :)

well i got the salt and i was wondering if someone can tell me how often i need to water? i know not till its dry ..but i was just wondering how much water in one watering?

Well they are about an inch to an inch and a half tall but i think i need to transplant them very soon and ive added pics. The first one is the Kush thats struggling with yellow droppy bottom leaves and the middle is also Kush but its looks a lot better than the other and the last is the Northern Lights and its got the biggest leaves but hasn't grown a cm in at least a week. Also thanks for the home depot link K062706!

Whats type of light you using and how many wattage. You need to place the light as close as possible I would say 12 inches would be ideal. they don't need to be transplanted yet, that would be a bad idea. There fine where there at now plus you will make the situation worse by shocking the plant.

Well I would think they dont need any nutrients yet... But test the soil.. Buy some tablets from lowes or homedepot.. its real easy to test, just poor the soil in the tube it comes with... add water throw in the tablet, shake and get results.
these tablets test all 3 NPK nutrients in your soil -- Nitrogen - Phosphuros and Potassium... you will need the tablets through vegg and flowering to keep soil neutral. people buy the PH meter but I don't trust it, it's more expensive and doesn't give you accurate results... people will debate me on this... but trust me, it's better not to be lazy and do manual tests every 2 weeks. If you go to Home Depot or lowes asks them for the tablets.. I can't see to find it on there website. But ask them, they will show you where there at... tell em your growing tomatoes and you need to check the NPK :). I bought the testing kit for 12 dollars. And like Tommypartys mention - keep the light 12 inches close.

They actually look weak. are they getting enough light?

Well the light is a UV Bulb i think its 50 watts and i have been keeping the light extremely close almost 6 in away from them. Also the light has stayed on 24/7 so far. And is it normal for them to be as small as they are or am i still ok for now. And im going to get those tablets fridays thanks again.
