Those buds are coming along great man! just in time for the cyco swell, let me know if you notice much difference using it, i start cyco swell next weekend

If you were to put your 60dw's outside how would they get pollinated, do you have males outside or alot of growers in the area who let males grow wild :p
i think they will do great outside, just plant them in the biggest pot you have and they will be big autos 2ft-4ft tall, my 60dw got just over 2ft indoors
cheers man ill def let ya know bout the cyco swell
ok i was gunna just do the autos at my actual house in the backyard and i do know the next door nieghbours had a few plants last year as the dickhead had them on his garden shed roof and i could see them as clear as day i actually went and told him he should move em lol and also being a noob i wasnt sure if if any pollen could affect them or just mj pollen never really looked into that side of it
got a few diff potting soils outside ill check it out over the weekend and maybe get started on one for outside
i was thinking of throwing it in a 21litre pot or should i go bigger?

Looks great.
If it was up to me, I would remove the fan leaves that come above the top of the canopy. Some do not agree on this issue, but I believe its benificial. (from experience as well)

Cutting fan leaves at this stage is not wise at all, stress, hermie, slow down of bud production to repair the cuts even though mj is great at multi tasking it could still slow down the bud production slightly and set odlaw back 1 extra week to harvest, if anything tuck them in that's what i'd do

Oh, really?
Tell that to my plants.

Removing a few fan leaves will barely stress a healthy plant, it won't cause it to hermi and will not slow the bud production by any means.
Tucking them denies airflow, which can cause budmold later on.

As long as the plant gets the nutrients it needs there's little to no need for those upper fan leaves. They don't photosyntesise as much as smaller leaves and they shade a lot of those smaller leaves.

They act as a nutrient storage in nature, but if the plant gets enough nutrients constantly removing ALL the fan leaves won't do much to the plant.

Check out the defoliation method in google.
I won't go that far, but I would remove some of those leaves.

oh man lol i started a thread a few weeks back asking bout removing a small amount of leaf and dam what a shit fight it started that is still goin on lol
keep in mind (which u cant see in any pics)there is no centre stem in the middle imagine loking into a big trophy cup thats kinda what the centre of my plant looks like and i can actually move all the side branching(which is now all the colas) around quite a bit and i do each day lol so those big leafs arent allways over the same spot
i decided not to and wont on this one maybe next run ill try it we will see
im not saying either way is right or wrong but i do believe from research that it has a lot to do with which style your using to grow etc
and i also understand that a lot of scientific botany books about leaf removal etc dont take into acc all the diff styles lighting etc that are out there these days
i mean in nature leafs fall off naturally of course but still the plant defoliates itself so it could be possible that growing hydro and not being a natural way of growing that leaf removal has a time and place there needs to be more research into this matter

It looks great and it seems like it would yield nicely.
I would make sure more than proper venting is supplied to prevent mold in these stages.

Nice grow mate!!

Got an Ice kush myself thats a few days from the chop :) ,just waitting for those trichs to turn a wee bit more,my main cola has 2 huge fat thumb buds protruding from the top like a set of ears on a rabbit(perfect for sitting my nose in for a nice sniff!)

Grew mine in 10ltr pot with soil/perlite fed advanced nutes, looks like it'll be a good yield :)
