T-5 mini closet grow, AN organic nutes, multiple strains

Wow, that's a lot of light. I was thinking about adding in some tubes like on top of the lip of the pots to add light to the lower and internal buds. How many plants are you running in that grow?

Lol I'm doing the same grow with bagseed and led's. It's nice to see someone elses plants that are in the same stature of grow as mine but with white lights. Mine are at week four.

Oh, i only use the white light to take the pictures, the actual grow light is more yellow. I am using 4 3000k tubes and 2 6500k tubes.

I am growing with a mixture of T8HO and T5HO tubes. I have 8 T8HO and 4 T5HO, 12 total tubes in a 4'x2' grow space. My plants are 4 weeks into flower and they look just like yours in terms of flower. I do not have a nice camera so that is kind of a bummer. The reason I went with the tubes is because I was able to spend the money over time.

My plants already make me feel like it was worth it.

But I just wanted to say I enjoy the work your doing. I was looking for complete tube grows before I started mine. I will be around to see your grows.

Those plants look great, what strain are they?

Well it is my first grow, the seeds came from a real terrible bag of weed. That showed when I sexed the 12 plants I started with and ended up with 2 females. So now I have 2 plants flowering and lots of wasted light. The one female I practiced LST on takes up an entire quarter of the grow space itself. The other one extends that up to half of the grow space. I still have another chamber for flower. I just have not equipped it with any venting or lighting yet.
I am growing with Expert Gardener Soil from Wal-mart. When they were in vegging I fed them Mexican Bat Guano tea. Now they get Shultz 10-15-10 every other water.

The photo with plants in it shows the containers I used and other just my box after I built it.

Hah, I was checking that journal just now. Just my opinion, but that seems to be a lot of watering. Do your plants dry out that fast?

well at first i was using 1 gal of water between the 4 plants. so every other day it was pretty dry. now i use 2 gal to water the 4 plants. takes about 3-5 days before it really dries up.

Updated pics coming soon, but needed to get some info out there.

Bushmaster can make your plants Hermies!

Both of the two plants that I sprayed with Bushmaster have some bananas showing. I read that Bushmaster can do this, but not a lot about it and since I figured they wouldn't sell it if it was crap....

I have to admit, the plants didn't stretch, but none of my plants stretched, so I'm not sure if Bushmaster did it or it was just the way I have my lights. Looks like I may have some seeds from this harvest after all.

Either way, unless you have experience with your strains and Bushmaster specifically, be very careful. While it may not ALWAYS causing herms, it CAN cause herms.

Here are the ladies after 4 1/2 weeks, and yes, those dark hairs means some of them were polinated. My cherry bomb went hermit after I hit it with bushmaster and got a few on all of the other females except for 2. I'll collect the seeds before we harvest so at least I got some free genetics...

Mad Scientist diet
So the two plants that are recieving the full Advanced Nutrients line are doing much better than their sisters. ICE #2 and G-13 #2 have stronger flowers, smell better, and overall look better. So far so good, but the ultimate test is of course yield, so...

Thanks. I'm not happy with how the grow light makes the pictures come out. The plants have more color than is showing, I'll try and rig a photo area of some sort. If anyone out there knows how to take good pictures and wants to give me some tips I would appreciate it.

Here are a few shots of my happy place. Running week 6 nutes this week, and starting next week it's just H20, CalMag, Hygrozyme and molasses from here on out until they finish. Since I used all organics I shouldn't need to flush, I'll just use the molasses to finish them out.

Next shots will be at harvest time! :weed:

Mine straightened out on their own, but could have been cut from a mother that was revegging I suppose. Sounds like your plants are in shock form going back to veg as well. When you have a plant that gets light shock, sometimes the leaves will spiral. It's light stress, and going from outside in flower to inside veg will definitely do that. Those leaves can be picked out later. Aside from looking funny, I don't think there are any real problems.

Yeah, I went to flower right around 1ft, but I'll measure when I harvest. I really had NO stretch, which was WEIRD, I was expecting at least an inch or two, but the almost snapped into flower. Maye because 'm suing only organic nutrients? I'm going to have to figure that one out.

Plus I wasn't sure how much penetrating power T-5's had, so I wanted to make sure the bottom buds were getting light.

I also have to say, I used Advanced Overdrive on two of the plants (ICE#2 and G-13 #2) and BOTH started producing even MORE flowering sites, some I had to take out, and the flowers really did take off again. Those two may need an extra week of flower time, which means BIGGER buds. Overdrive is definitely a thumbs up in my book.
