lol thats awesome

another stepping stone in the global movement.. first az in the united states went medical (along with ALL the other states!), prop 19 went up and got a LOT of votes (yes it failed but it gained a LOT of attention to the movement!) and now new zealand with the legalizing :)

The most effective thing to get legislation is to point to states with pro-cannabis bills (medical/legal) and show how successful the bills are. Strength in numbers!

whats your source kiwiskunk? not hating on you or anything but i really cant imagine john (don)key would put any bill remotely legalising it through. hes very definitely right wing and ive never heard anything even slightly pot positive pass his lips. even helen clarke wouldnta done that and she could at least admit the current laws do nothing but make criminals out of non criminal weed smokers.

No worries, it will happen.

Just probably not as soon as any of us want it to be.

But it WILL happen, we are gaining numbers, people are getting the facts out there.
Smoke a bowl bro, it being illegal doesn't stop you from doing thatbongsmilie

we should start questioning why we criminalized it in the first place.. but that involves calling the US GOV out on some serious shit.. which nobody wants to do

Actually, I would love to gain all the possible knowledge needed to take them on.

But I would probably just be sent away to stoner jail where all the other stoner 'leeches' on society are.

We are such bad people. Shame on us.

I joined the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party a couple of weeks ago, and after browsing their site and doing a bit of research of my own i begin to wonder. You sound like your from dunedin?... and i take from your name you are a regular at the 420 smoke ups on campus. So i assume the people you meet there are all gunning for legalisation. So i ask, when do you and the people in the 420 crowd expect things to change. I know you arent a fortune teller, but an apporximate guess would suffice. Because from what im reading the medical angle is being slammed by this synthetic THC shit, and other issues concerning legalisation are of no interest to our goverment - so what do you reckon.... 2,3,5,10 or more years?

Let me tell you, I wasnt a part of the 420 smoke club on campus, when I was at college. I was very discreet with it, and kept it between me and a few friends. My name is.....IregAt420, meaning that somehow, some fuckin way idk, when I found this site...I browsed, then decided to register, I was sitting there...thinking of a username, looked down and it was 4:20 am exactly.
So really, I havent talked to many in the 420 club lol, but I will say that my friends and I dont think it will be long. But nobody knows man.

I really am laughing at myself now, feeling stupid lol. I thought IregAt420 meant something like... "Im a regular at 420"....anyways.

In my honest opinion i cant see it happening. I dont want to sound pessimistic, but i remember meeting Nandoor about 10 years ago and he said it would happen soon too. He's gone and still no change. No disrespect to any of the pro-legalisation parties, my support for ALCP is genuine. But it seems like it is destined to be something that i wont see in my lifetime.

Its all good man.

And it really is hard to imagine it happening. But like all things we want, we just have to hope. And KEEP that hope.
