My step dad does stunt kites to relax. He does some badass shit with those things, I've watched him run up to 3 at once in a fully choreographed dance, it was kick ass.

cool, i still have alot of fun with the stunt kites, alot of fun at night with lights on them, flew at a festival once and there was a guy there flying 3 at a time, def kick ass.

My buddies 6 week old kid was having trouble holding onto the kite, so I taped his hands to the spool and he took flight. Still haven't found him.

Okay, if I don't post this now I'll just keep tweaking it forever. I'm just starting out and could REALLY use the cloner and nutes! I call it 'WeedShip-2450 A.D.' Hope you all enjoy...

Thanks guys! I haven't tapped into my creative side in a while and it was fun to do. In full disclosure it's not 100% original, I used a CG piece from a sci-fi artist as a starting point. The rules didn't state anything to the contrary and I took it in a much different direction anyway. Still spent around 8 hours on the SOG, lighting, silhouette, etc. I can make CG weed... almost as cool as growing the real stuff! The original file is much higher resolution but it seems like RIU has a size limit for uploads. Or am I missing something? The uploaded version has a nice soft "painted" look to it but the high res kicks ass IMO. When does the contest end btw?

Its the same for everyone though. That last super lemon haze shot I took has way more sparkle to it over here on the original pic.
