sure, whatever. :)
The final demon of reasonable discourse: "whatever"

It is postulated that religion, for better or worse, was spawned of the psychadelic experience. There are those who believe that our emergence as a self aware creature was a combination of forebrain and mushrooms. The point is that none of us will ever know. You believe your position that these chemicals are not synergistic but just another way to get a buzz on. I believe differently, one of us is delusional. The fact that these substances have changed my outlook has me be perfectly happy with my being delusion and just as content if you are. An ego is a brutal thing, it is worth the trouble to take it off and examine it from all sides.

There are also some who believe in that a primitive "man" ape whatever ate mushrooms grown out of manure considering many species dig through their dung in search of insects and other food. They ate these theogens and in heavy doses sparked the evolution of consciousness,

I never said I have been anywhere but right here. But strange as it may be, the temporary removal of one's ego tends to be... "life changing" for some and it is possible that one inhabits "another side" when one is without such a vital appendage.
Are you reffering to the sort of feverish plane between life and death one experiences under the influence of a heavy theogen? A removal of ego? A bold statement. God like? Maybe not a removal, but an increase in ego. The vague attempt of mans mind to grasp at the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil? Angels would cover their face, hands, and feet in the presence of the divine. Some say Jobs trials were simply a battle of egos. Luciphers challenge to god to find a man who will never lose his faith. Ego might be my greatest strength and my greatest weakness.

It is a very bold statement "the removal of ones ego"

i dont think anyone denied the potential of hallucinagens to induce spiritual experiences. Personally I just think some people should not use them as such, they might use crutches to walk, but lsd is not a crutch. Many people, accept it or not, are just too "stuck in their ways" or stupid to see otherwise.

To be more plain, the temporary dissolution of the concept of "I". We are all simply membranes between two infinite worlds, that which is outside of us and that which we call "I", the interior, our thoughts, our "personality", our "spirit", our soul. I don't think it is such a bold statement at all. When one has been to that... forgive me... "place" where there is no "I" then things change, it is not a feverish state at all, many find it blissful, or empowering, I don't know if it is "God like". Many find it very disturbing.

I have seen people "too stuck in their ways" take LSD and become unstuck from their ways.

Earlier you said "we simply do not know". I wholeheartedly agree. Yes, as humans we do reside within ourselves and within the world, your right. And there are wonderful times when we as humans experience love and come together as almost one being. We evolve together. However imagine there is a couple and the couples friend. They are all tripping. The trip is great, but at the end of it the friend wants to have sex with the couple. How does the couple handle this situation "without i".

Im having fun man. Its great to talk with you.

At the end of it, the "I" returns - it always has for me anyway. While it is going on, the understanding of myself as separate from everything else dissapears, or is rearranged to the point where it doesn't make any "sense". I will try to explain it as best I can, but the only way to truely "know" it is to present yourself to that level and go where you are taken. So if the third party wants to have sex with the couple, that third party askes and accepts the answer.

i don't think i ever really stated what i "believe".

i did say, " i see a whole lot of people having life changing experiences that never really change their lives".

you took it a whole lot deeper then i ever intended.
