either my machine was really dirty or you can get a nice yield on the third wash. still no green. ........

Hey FDD I got two questions.

First do you just throw the trimmings in along with a bunch of ice and go to town?

Second. How do you strain the finished product? what size mesh do you use?

AWSOME FDD. I'm had my wife sow me some bags. i found a place to get the mesh and fabric for the bags if anyone is interested. i use a drill and a concrete mixer. looks like a giant egg beater. i find it works better as i can get the thing deeper.

Are you heating the hash the pressing it into a brick.

You can wrap the hash in several layers of plastic wrap then wrap the bundle in a wet dish towel that has been wrung out & place it in the oven on its lowest setting for 5 minutes,keeping an eye on it through the window the whole time,the wet dish towel will not let the plastic burn or the hash scorch.

Remove it from the oven,take the dish towel off & roll that shit with a bread rolling pin,you'll be able to shape it any way you want.

Try a little chunk to get the method down.

I mixxed minw with an electric hand mixer and also used a wooden spoon. I worked it for 20 mins then let it settle for 20 mins. then pulled the bags. I should of done two runs with the same trim that may of helped. Any advice. I will have lots more trim next time if I ever try it again. I am also going save more small buds. I want to get what you have mine is a joke, but it smokes good and it will still pay for the bags!

i used the pressing screen. pressed most of the water out. then i put it all in the palm of my hand with some gloves on and start squeezing. the water and "muddy hash oozes out between my fingers. as the hash warms and the water drips out it starts to bind together. it takes A LOT of squeezing. once it binds together i start twisting and folding it against itself. every time bring it all back together and squeezing. kinda like working taffy. most, i'd say 97% of the water is out of it. if you put it in a sealed container it will "sweat". it only takes a day for the mold to start to set in. i just don't seal it and it is fine. i am trying the drying method this time though. i would like to make hash that DOESN'T mold.
