Smell, it hides a lot of the smell.
I used it for years before my carbon scrubber. Just pour some in a bowl and it does the trick, to a certain extent

yea it works real well had some but ran out the other day i bought four dif kinds of others none work asd good as ona ebay sells it $21 for qt jar last about two months!!!!!

The gel works well. My only gripe would be how quickly it can dry out requiring refills.

I haven't seen any at my local garden center. You may try home depot for a similar item, find a janitorIal store they may carry it.
