Instead of using super volatile, unstable fluids, to fill tanks. Releasing it, and igniting it in HUGE amounts...
We need a better way to get into space...

What if there are alien civilizations where human sized people have grown together with sky scraper sized people, in a mutually parasitic situation, and the giant ones just throw the little ships into space.

Or slingshot civilizations, where their planes and EVERYTHING are propelled by sling shots

Or a magnet tech society, that just uses magnetism as a force, to push into the sky...

Aliens would have different atmospheres, and gravity than us though....
So it may be easier/harder, for some aliens...

(I'll keep vv-this-vv paragraph, but my question has already been answered. This planet is not real.)
Did anyone hear about this new planet called "Goldylox/ Goldie locks/ Goldy locks?" Appearently it is in between the moon and Mars...And....Looks exactly like Earth?!?!?!??????
In the article I read, the guy said "I can't wait to buy a Condo, on the Goldy Locks California coast"
I think it's a reflection they see somehow tricking them...
This CAN'T be real....They say "We just never saw it, but it's RIGHT THERE in front of us, and always was."

goldie lox is the zone in which it is situated in. Not to close and not too far from the sun, hence, the goldie lock zone

Those giant people would need large spoons to remove the cream of small people from the tails of the planes/ships they threw. cn

But it's not real is it?

A planet that looks EXACTLY like Earth??
RIGHT next to us???

I'm gonna doubt it...For now..

There absolutely certainly definitely is not another earthlike planet in our solar system.
The term "Goldilocks zone" was coined to describe the spherical shell (ring, if we limit ourselves to the Ecliptic) around a star in which a planet would have the right temps for earthlike habitats.

Fin, when I saw the title of this thread, I braced myself in case I was entering Finshaggy's Oral Sex Academy. cn

Weekly World News is afaik the extremum of tabloid "journalism". Every last thing in there is a fabrication, packaged in a manner that is appealingly plausible if you are very very high or otherwise unable/unwilling to properly think about it. It's why the tabloid scene in MIB is funny. cn

<edit> An example. The thought of an Earthlike planet near Mars is absurd for two reasons.
1) The orbital mechanics would not work ... planets would collide in probably less than a million years. Billions? Fuhgeddaboudit.
2) An Earth-type planet at Martian distance would be brighter than Venus. We'd see it!

Oh man it all makes total sense now! You beleive everything you read? Dude look up in the sky! If it was our size, in between the moon and mars it would be massive in our sky. The whole time I was reading the article my logic was streaming NO.
