I'm still kind of having problems I think. I don't know if I'm supposed to be using more calmag or less calmag. I used around 15-20ml of calmag before and now my plants look like they do in my pictures above, not much change.

I am using RO water, so I don't know if I should add calmag again or not, cause I didn't when I changed my buckets a few days ago and it seems like the tips of the leaves are turning light green...

If you use R/O water -- you MUST use Cal-Mag. If you dont use R/O water, you "probably" should use Cal-Mag.

If things look the same, things arent getting worse, which means things should be lookin better. How many hours since you last messed with the roots nutrients ph and ppm?

I changed out all the buckets on christmas day, so it's been 4 days. I was going to switch the buckets out on the first.

I finally started to see new growth today and yesterday, and new roots are kind of starting to show. I just noticed today that the tips of the new growth are kind of getting light green and stuff. I knew I should of used calmag but I thought I used too much last time, so I didn't.

I make sure the PH is at 5.8 every day and that's about all I do.

Why are you changing out buckets on the first of january? Every time you do that it stresses the plant, try to change buckets only once when you go from veg to flower or better not at all............

Sounds like they are getting better!

Thanks for the tip, I'll try to hold off on messing with buckets so much. I hope they're getting better!!

Alright, well I don't really know what to do now. My plants are looking better so far, I am starting to finally see growth and new root growth. I'm having a problem though - I don't know what my plants need.

They're like 6 weeks old and I want to put them into 12/12 as soon as possible. They don't look that big but I'm hoping that since they're coming back then they will be good to go, but I don't know what to feed them. I'm using the humbolt 3 part, with the grotek pro-silica, calmag, and some aquashield.

Here are some pics of them:

Can someone please help me figure out what my plant needs and what mix of nutrients I should feed them with? Probably going to change buckets out wednesday or some time soon as possible to get them into bud.

My guess is to hit them with 10ml grow, 20ml micro, and 30ml Bloom. This is the humbolt nutrients. Plus 10 or 15ml of Pro-Silica and still thinking on how much calmag I should put in. Last time I put in 20ml and now my plants look like that.

It would be nice to know what they need so I can just look at the NPK ingredients and add accordingly. :bigjoint:

My experience has been that you have an awful lot of room for error with nutrients. Go with 1/4 or 1/2 strength and adjust up as needed. A little extra cal-mag shouldn't hurt anything.

Are you sure you don't have an environmental problem instead? The tops of those plants look sick and 2 1000w will generate a lot of heat. Check those res temps as well.

Think about what your saying dude...... You want 10ml grow, 20ml micro, and 30ml bloom, but why? Your plants arent flowering. You want VEG FORMULA.

Humboldt's website has nutrient charts

Follow them?

And why do you keep insisting on changing the buckets? I've told you a bunch that it causes stress and you've said "Ok I wont do it" and now you want to do it again............ Why am I here lol is there any grower who will listen to advice that needs a kitty? :)

Oh, sorry, I cant read. :)

What does Humboldt's nutrient chart tell you to do? Surely you've printed that yea?

Looks to me like week 4+ for vegging plants is 4ml/4ml/4ml per gallon of g/m/b. And if you are starting flowering, you'd do the same thing for the first week, too. Skip all other additives, except H2O2 and Cal-Mag, which arent additives, they are requirements. The additives I refer to is all that silica whatever stuff and anything that isnt Humboldt Nutrients.........

Let me know what parts is the confusing stuff, we'll try our best to help as always.....

The reason I asked and didn't just follow the schedule is cause they are like 6u weeks old and still probably veg them another week so I wasn't sure what nutrients they wanted.

After the fourth week of veg, continue to use week 4 veg nutrient schedule until you begin flower, then start with week 1 of flowerings nutrients and have fun watching em! :) :)

H2O2, sold at the hydro store, you should be adding 5ml/gallon of water every 3-4 days. It provides oxygen to your roots so they arent drowning while you water them (airstones also do, but they dont hold the oxygen in the bubbles like the H2O2 does). Also, it helps prevent root rot and cleans your system a bit. Airstones are a great supplement to H2O2, but are not a replacement for sure... All hydroponics growers you'll see will have a gallon of it on their shelf. :-) We used to stock the gallon size, now we stock the 5 gallon size. :)

They don't sell it at our hydro stores. Can I just pick up hydrogen peroxide from the grocery store?

Here's a pic of all this bullshit everybody keeps telling me to use:

could be dew burn stoners can consume a certain amount of mountain dew but when fed to their plants the same beneficial effects are not shared by the ungrateful plants
lay off the dew and check out cal mag for those spots
