Will it Stay in Flower Part 2

why wouldn't it make it ?

The Light cycle has increased by an hour since i put her in the ground and it's going to keep increasing until mid july when the outdoor light is at it's peak. I might cause it to go in to its re vegetative state

it should be an interesting experiment. i would like to see how many hours of light will cause the hormones to change and make it reveg.

Mine haven't shown any signs of going back to leaf. They look to be committing more into flower. Starting to wonder if they're using autos down south. The most "mature" need 4 more weeks. Wonder if it will make it. The less mature are gathering up and showing trichs and some nice little budlets forming. I'm beyond a guess how long they'll keep up. I thought they would have changed already.

Yeah Mine is doing the same. I was looking at her today and she's starting to grow faster there is more frost on her then there was yesterday. The Buds look to be filling out. Starting to notice some mites and aphids so I just put some lady bugs in the tent she's in.

Me too. I've been taking a pic of her everyday and checking her buds to see how much they have grown looking for any kind of change. It's been a great grow. Not bad for my first outdoor grow.

The magic # I read is somewhere around 9 hours and 45 minutes, Ed Rosenthal did a bunch of studies on this in an indoor environment so it'll be interesting to see what happens. Outdoor plants here can re-veg a couple times a season if they don't die from frost or heat. ;)

That's good to know. I don't think phoenix had frost this year.. The heat is what worries me the most. Hopefully The shade cloth tent and the micro sprinklers will do the trick.

Heat is a problem for the roots only. if you're in a pot, heat is a prob...if you sink the pot in the dirt or if your plants are in the dirt, no problem. Sunken pots tend to require more frequent watering that roots in the soil.

mj is a tough plant...it can handle.

I'm growing in our states 2nd largest city. I agree heat it a bitch but if you acclimate your plants properly they'll do great. I don't use sun screen but just regular window screen to defuse the intensity of the sun and heat.

From the look of those leafs I'd say you're growing an auto's. I only guess that cuz I've grow a few autos before and the ruderalis in them seems to give them those 1-3 fingered leafs around the buds. But we're early enough in the season to say they should be fine re-veging if they aren't auto's. If so I hope you've got the room to house some a tree when it's time to cut her down. Stay Green

The strain is CH9 Jack. It doesn't say anything about being an auto. And if I get a tree so be it!! I have all the room I need. I've never grown an auto before but plan on giving it a shot sometime this year.

Hi all,
One advantage to planting early....the plants can get enough age to preflower, allow you to cull male w/o waiting all summer. The trick is to not plant so early that you end up with plants doing just this. I have some others, planted later, that have shown sex, but aren't committing to flower....and are going to be trees.

OK so it still is in flower looks like I'll be able to get two harvest from this plant I got some buds on there that look like they will be done in 2 weeks and some very small ones just starting to poke out. I will post pics soon.
