Growing Serious Ak-47, Reserva Privada's OG#18, and Barney's Blue Cheese

So the title says it all. I am growing an Ak-47, OG#18, and Blue Cheese. I just flipped them to 12/12 2 days go, but I still haven't noticed any pistils showing yet. They are all feminized seeds, so I hope that they all turn out female without any hermies. I haven't had any hermi problems in the past, so I doubt that I will start now. I guess I vegged for about approximately 30+ days. I wasn't keeping track. I flip when they are at the size that I want them at. Right now the Ak-47 is the biggest plant at about 19". She is nice and bushy after being topped several times with dark greenish blue sativa looking leaves in a 5 gallon pot. Next is probably going to be my favorite plant, the OG#18, which is the next biggest plant at about 15" tall. She is nice and bushy too after being topped. She has light green colored leaves that smell of something sour already. I can't wait to try her out. Then there is the smaller plant Blue Cheese. It is about 13 1/2" tall with nice dark green big indica leaves. It looks like Barney's description about this strain has been spot on so far. I hope that this strain turns out to be some good smoke. I'm more about getting high quality smoke than getting high yields, but if I do get crazy yields it is always a plus.

I'm growing them under a 400w HPS with about 200w of CFL's strategically placed around the plants where the 400w HPS doesn't seem to get very well. Please feel free to comment about anything. Try to play nice because I don't want to here some kiddy bullshit going on. Here are a couple pics of where I am now:

Subbed and looking good. I was wondering what your ppms is on the og 18? Do you feed aggressively or did you slow feed her, Does she have good side branching? thanks

I don't check ppms. I am growing in soil. I don't really feed anything but water until I start to flower. I usually wait till I start to see some yellowing in the leaves before I feed them some bloom nutes with a NPK ratio of 15-30-15. I just use some shit called Shultz from wallyworld. Nothing fancy here cause I have no problem getting it to work for me. Thanks for the compliment on my ladies.

leaves are flaccid and inter-veinal space seems a lil puffy. they look a little juicy..........i agree. that's why we ask for pics.
I'm not quite sure what you are talking about when you say that the "leaves are flaccid and inter-veinal space seems puffy." Can you explain what you mean by this statement. Thanks

If spaces is a issue than kandy kush is a mega mega stretcher in flower, I think I have slowed down now , day 14 tomorrow, I had a inch of grow atleast every day for the first 10 days or so, on a side note this thing stinks so bad in a good way. You'll love the sour kush aka headband, very easy to grow , easy to clone and very bendable during flower if that helps.

That's why I'm adding about 200w of CFL's to the grow around the plants on the outside and above the 2 on the outside as well. They will all get a descent amount of light. I don't think I let them get to big before I flipped. I think I will be alright. Plus I will lollipop the shit of them.

I've noticed from past grows that the plants tend to stretch for about 21 days after you flip to 12/12. After the initial 21 days after the flip, the plants seem to stop stretching and just pack on the buds and hopefully the trichs during the rest of the time flowering. That has been my experience with the plants that I have grown.

So I decided to LST the OG#18 and Blue Cheese a little bit. Just to get some light down in the middle of the plant. I snapped a brach and had to use some duct tape to fix her up. It's nothing I'm concerned about. The Ak-47 is growing super fast. It is already 25" tall and maybe even bigger around. The OG is about 18" tall and the Blue Cheese is 16" tall. The AK is growing like an inch a day which is pretty fast. It's outgrowing the other strains, so I guess I will have to keep something under the other 2 pots so that the canopy is somewhat even for the lighting. I had no idea that the Ak would get so big. I had heard that the OG#18 stretched quite a bit during the 12/12 stretch, but I'm still waiting. I knew that the Blue Cheese was going to be a short plant since it's an indica dominant plant. I am starting to see some pistils forming on all of the plants. Just a few here and there. Plus you can tell that the new growth is just looking different all together. I can't wait on these babies to start doing there thing. I am feeling so damn impatient right now.

So what type of stretch do you expect from the og 18 in flower, is it suppose to double or triple size? And patients is always hard lol.

I'm not quite sure what to expect as far as stretch with the #18. This is my 1st time growing this strain, but I figured from what I have read about this strain from others growing it that it will at least double in size. The AK-47 is growing super fast compared to the others. Like an inch a day fast. I just checked them out a few minutes ago, and they are really starting to smell and they all have started showing female pistils. I can't wait to see some bud formations. This is by far my favorite part of growing!

yeah, sure.................flaccid = limp
inter-veinal spaces are the tissue between the veins of leaves. they get puffy when plant is over-watered.
