Hooked up the lights, Im getting 82 with both 600s on and 79 with both ballasts at 400. Still going to be honing in temps in the next few weeks. I figure the plants dont need all of that light right now so Ive got some time.

gotta say i'm loving your setup. is the outside of your tent air conditioned? is that why you have the 6" at the bottom to draw in cooler air?

Yea it comes from outside of the room itself and ambient temps tend to hover around 68-70. I would like to hook up the room itself to the a/c but have no idea how to go about it. Its only 3-4 feet away from the nearest branch off the a/c.

Thanks man! How big of an area are they in?

Yea I bet you could get a duct splitter and get you an AC duct running to that room if you don't mind the vent that you will be tapping into getting a little less AC airflow to the room it is going to right now.....Sounds like your temps are great man...I'd be stoked to have 82F with both 600watt lights going full blast. I just now got my tent temperature in the mid 80's with 2 x 400watters going with a portable A/C in the tent and I'm so happy i could cry, lmao. Been battling against 94F or more in that tent the past month now that summer is full speed ahead.

Hell of a good job sealing off your grow area for that tent man! If I had any kind of carpentry skill i'd do the same, but i totally suck at building things and I don't want the house caving in on me LOL

Yea temps can be a pain. I know the feeling you experienced, while honing in my 2x4's temps it was always hell.

loving your set-up bro.....if i were you, i would find someone to duct your a/c into your room!....what a luxury, you can add a damper too, for flow control........the more options, the better imho....will give you more flexibility for controling RH also.....looks killer....you must be so proud!

Yea I'm seriously considering running the a/c to the room and a dampaner is a hell of an idea. I want to see if I can figure out enough to give it a shot by myself then go find someone if I don't think I can handle it but yea I think it is going to be something that will get done. I'm just trying to do this the best way I can so I can grow up to be like you and sub lol. ;)

Inline fan for the lights is mounted up on the wall as well. When we get down to flowering Ill be throwing my filter on the end of it.

The room itself is actually coming together. Been organizing and cleaning for a while. Since I was able to mount the inline I can use that white table it was sitting on for the plants and put empty tubs under them to catch rum off water when watering. I need to get a better shelf for outside of the tent too but the one will do for now.

Man where did you happen to find those white stands you got your plants on in the tent? All i can find like that are metal ones like they use to store produce on in grocery store backrooms and I don't want those since rust would be an issue.... Nice tidy looking room and a smart move with the ballasts in the next room!

They have them on sale at Home Depot. I think there like 20 bucks for a set with 4 levels.

loving the new set up so far. Are you going to go perpetual with a tent that large and the smaller veg tent?
