theres a ranch in my state that is roughly 160 acres. sale price is 184k usd. its way out in the country and it looks like the terrain of those country sides in the old western movies. died grass and dry dirt. i was thinking bout building commercial greenhouses they cost about 15-20k each... but is this a good idea? i would get security fencing and guard dogs as well to protect my property. would the feds be able to fly by with choppers and thermal scan the greenhouses? cause arent greenhouses suppose to be really hot? and they cant fly by my property without a warrant first right? i think im going to open a non-profit organization that grows vegetables for the homeless.. i could do that on the side too. any reason i should go thru with this plan? im not looking for a trolling or a flame fest im just looking for perspective. maybe u guys see something that i dont see?

...."and they cant fly by my property without a warrant first right?"

Dude-you're nothin' but a big dreamer. Talk some sense. :-?

Lets here your logistics? Harvest, trimmers, cure, sell, trucks, workers, state inspectors. All this and not a legal grow?

K I'll bite.
Me thinks that would be an insane investment for something so trivial. Not to mention the time to get it thrown together would be just nuts. Also even if you were to have some ''non profit organization'' to grow veggies (food products) for the public the health department would probably come sniffing around from time to time to inspect said greenhouses (all of them) to make sure you're not spreading any sort of bacteria or anything through your crops. There would be a lot of red tape to go through for something like that I'm sure.
I'm picturing a Thurgood Jenkins & Scientist exchange to keep things on the DL with you and the Health Inspector lol
As far as choppers are concerned they can fly wherever they want to when they want to. That'd be kinda silly. They would have to serve warrants for every single residence they flew over if that were the case. As far as scanning it I wouldn't count on that either. What's to stop em from scanning it, then going and getting a warrant. Then coming and kicking down your gates? Then using the old we've received tons of tips so we decided to check it out speech. The fuzz just doesn't work like it does in Hollywood. I personally know a guy who had his door kicked in. The found lots of goodies. He was all 'Dey gonna haveta throw it out cuz dey didn't have a warrant' fact is they found it. That was enough. He's in the pokey and will be for a long time. Hard time. If there's a regulation that works in civilians favor....there's 5 loopholes to get around it by Leo.
Due process really wouldn't be a factor if they busted a commercial greenhouse with a Ganja jungle inside.
Just take that 184k + greenhouse cost + fencing cost (that in itself would be a fortune) energy and everything else you can think of and move somewhere's where it won't be an issue lol.
Oh and one more thing to remember............
When you're in Texas look behind you.................cause that's where the Ranger's gonna be

just wondering haha how did u know texas was involved in this equation?

That narrows it down a bit and throws out any green states. And if I'm not mistaken most of the other 'ranch states' now have med card laws. So it kinda narrows it down even further

You'll go down faster than a boatload of anvils. Hope it's federal when it happens. Their prisons beat the state holes and county joints are the worst. Joe isn't the sheriff is he?

Yeah it narrows it. Most any state west of the Mississippi has areas that look like that. And 160 acres is far from a "ranch".

Yes, Yes you should!!! Let me know who does your greenhouse that size for 15-20K

I'm looking at this one for 11k! You cant even buy the siding for one that big for 15k let alone have it put together.

lmao texas is the last place you'd want to grow, just think of how shitty it would be (for you or buyers) to get the finished product out of tx. So many border patrol and cops looking extra hard for stuff coming from Mexico...

Montana, Colorado, WA, Oregon are way better :P
