Fire in the hole! 15 Timewreck super soil pheno hunt

Here we go... my parents are sounding like they're not going to visit in may now, which means nothing should get rushed out of flower early -- huzzah!!! Also means there is no reason not to put up a full veg chamber for the next round (cuts from this round + ace of spades pheno hunt)

Last pic of all the girls together before they get separated... 5 going into first dark shift today, 5 in the second, and 8 will go 24/0 and get put into flower over the next week and a half as they get transplanted and a last little bit of veg time to stretch into the new homes.

The most vigorous and probably Chernobyl x Space Jill keeper - hard to believe she is only about 6 weeks old. She was in a 1.5 gallon until less than a week ago now she has covered the top of this 8 gallon airpot which I believe is around 18" wide. FYI all of these are only about 8-10" tall!

Various TimeWrecks - one of these is the one that got accidentally topped once, but otherwise all these plants have never been topped, just tied down. Single cola still intact! And the tie down process really helps thicken the stems and branches.... I compare it to the plants pumping iron :) they are constantly straining against the ties - really it's more like isometrics

Gotta love the big fans, though i've had bigger. Enjoy the whiteness that is my foot.

They are... the ones in the 1.5 gallons have been getting unhappy as soon as i up pot'em they are taking off so guess they all need new homes :) I'm just hoping I can keep'em happy all the way through harvest and make it a really good one... the last harvest was just demoralizing, especially compared to the one before that.... like first to worst. Will have a vid later I just moved the cab around and now getting ready to hang the plastic sheeting. Sweet thing is that room will pretty much be stealthed other than fan noise. Not sure if there is much I can do about that I just turn'em off if company comes over. With this new setup I could actually leave the lights on though as long as the a/c was blowing even if someone was there. It's gonna be sweet. I am thinking now I will probably try to give that ChernoJill in the 8 gallon pot one more week of veg before flower since other plants are going to be vegging one more week.... she needs more time to grow into her new space since she started from a 1.5 gallon pot... the other 8 gallon pot had a 3.4 transplanted into it and is ready for flower I can tell... so psyched that I'm not going to have to rush this harvest now...

That's looking great!

re: your folks
When my folks are in town this summer, we'll get to have a frank and open discussion about medical mj if they insist on wandering down to the basement... :)

I hear ya... i'm just hoping to make sure i'm in a medical-legal state before that so I can tell them it really isn't a problem :) they would definitely not approve for sure due to the legal issue where i'm at -- they're pretty christian too but they used to have friends who smoked (with family that got busted over it so maybe not the best examples ;) ) i don't know if i want to be real open with them once i get to a place where it's legal or not, there doesn't really seem to be a big upside to it -- but may be unavoidable at some point considering my plans are to transition into a full time grower with what i do now for work on the side on a contract basis :)

Uploading video at youtube... will be posting shortly. It's a good'un.

Just transplanted 2 chocolate chunkey monkeys (into 2.4g and 3.4g airpots) and 1 timewreck (into a 5 gallon smartpot). That timewreck was definitely ready to be transplanted... the roots were growing up to within 1/2" of the top of the soil. I'm surprised it didn't show more issues. Good genetics.

A bit late... but just took cuts of the half of the girls in the light phase... will be taking cuts from the other 4 later today (they're in dark right now). Hopefully day 2 flower cuts won't be an issue, but I doubt it... they haven't been in long enough to flower yet and in my experience, the shorter they've been in flower, the quicker they reveg... Only 3 cuts for some, so hope at least one of each survives or the one that's the keeper has a cut that survives at least :) if not i'll be revegging or re-pheno hunting :)

FUCK YEAH FUCK YEAH FUCK YEAH!! Just checked my weed email and hempdepot said they got my order and sent it out! Only took 5 days to get there. If it comes in its usual time it should be here next Monday or Tuesday. Shit now I gotta get ready to pop 10 AoS :)

Getting ready to go transplant the last 5 plants and also sex the last 2. I saw that my hydro store has airpots (!!!!!) so I bought a couple -- talked to the guy and he said they are going to put in an order this friday and they'll order me whatever sizes I want... guess who's gonna pick up a couple 10 gallons for the next harvest of my keeper timewreck cut from clone? :) <-- THIS GUY!!!!

I also picked up a bag of neptunes harvest crab shell meal ( new -- score) and blood meal for making super soil this week sometime.

I'm gonna make original formula in one can and my modified one in the other to compare results :)

On to transplanting... I may take a vid to show it in airpots since a lot of people don't have experience with'em.

Just got done transplanting, watering in and retying the last 5 that were still in 1.5 gallons. All except the runt had a solid rootmass throughout the pot. The runt had about 1/10th of the pot it still had not grown roots into. Exciting -- everyone's in their final homes!!

Only the runt is now unsexed. The other ChernoJill was a female. She actually has trichs on the stipules and pistils already (in veg still). The runty chernojill's preflowers look 100% female except no pistils yet... they look like they've got a spot for the pistils to poke out, just none yet :)

Days like today make me actually think I know a little sumpin-sumpin about growing. These plants are bigger and healthier than my first harvest this year when I got monster yields. If all goes well should easily be a 3-4oz/plant harvest -- 18 girls. You do the math :) If I do it again, I'm gonna be laughing at all these people with their multi-K HPS rooms ;)

This is the only one for dayshift that needed watering (the 2.4 gallon of course)

Trimmed the lower 1/3 after taking the photo above... all the flowering branches and most of the fan leaves. Will trim the next few inches up between weeks 2 and 3 once I have a better idea on what kind of stretch we'll see. So far not too bad!
tw3.jpg

A shot of the structure... this sucker has BIG branches... I expect really good yields, maybe better than my last run it's got bigger branches and stems and more, and never topped, so theoretically should yield really well... just hope there's enough nutes in there the super soil was semi diluted with roots although i added a few more things in there to bump it up... it's not pure, original super soil this time... next grow i'm going to be running original super soil formula vs the guano based version I run a lot to see which does better. Those LEDs must be getting decent penetration look how healthy those lower leaves are that don't get a lot of light.

I definitely have a super peppery pheno I smelled it the other day when I went in the dark room. Haven't smelled anything other than super pepper and maybe a little earth yet... some of the other plants have a bit of a skunky smell but not a lot. I'm not really growing time wreck for flavor (that's what I got the Ace coming for :) ) -- it's all about the dankest most potent pheno regardless of taste and hopefully a good yielder.... though if there's a light yielding super pheno and a good yielding but still real strong bigger yielder I'll probably keep both :) gonna be getting real exciting here in less than a week...
