I aready started my grow outdoors im in the east bay area
I have 3 GSC 1GDP 1 Lambs Bread 1 cherry kush 1 Purple Kush i have them all in 7 gallon pots with FFOF is 7 gallon buckets a good size to have them in?? And what could i expect to yield from them?

Too many variables to guess on yield. Maybe 3-6 oz a plant? could be more, could be less.

If im trying to yield atleast 8oz a plant how big a pot do i need i can grow up to 20 plant where i am so i can put out some more in bigger pots

The bigger the pot...the bigger the plant. Some people use 100 gallon pots. A good 20-30 gallon pot would make for real nice plants though.

I grew MK in 5 gal pots started April 1 from seed last year and I got 4oz each in So Cal and I LSTd em..adjust for your weather you will prolly need like 12-15 gal...10gal if you LST maybe

7 gallons isnt much for outdoor, youll have to water them heavily every day once they get bigger and the small size of the pot will eventually stunt the growth. A rough estimate is one ounce of bud per gallon of medium.

Thanks for the feedback i think ill jst put a few more out ima search around for some strains that yield larger

I had a nice grow using 7gallon root pots but they air pure the roots and plastic pots don't. I also only averaged about 3-4 oz per plant. This year I am going to try 15 or 20 gallon root pots.

Im going to try atleast one plant in one of those 20gal pots the thing is i stay in oakland and the neighboors yards fence is short if i grow some big females i have a chance of getting ripped

ya and by super cropping you should get a bigger yield. lolliepoping them aswel might be a good move to make for a bigger yield.

you really don't need to lollipop outdoors IMO you're just cutting off yield.. I think lollipop is made for indoors

7 gal might hit the goal, I grabbed about 4 oz of bud of a plant I had seeded in 10 gal, so I'd imagine without the seeds you could get 8. If you can grab something a little bigger and an extra bag of soil, I would. Transplanting from 7 to 10 seems kind of silly to me.

Thanks for the replies,, i will try super cropping and LST when they are bigger only to some and see how it goes i will learn more this year and be ready for next year season,, i will be picking up more clones and digging 12 gallon holes and try the trash bag in the ground thing

Trashbags in the ground eh? Well shit, if my new pad didn't have such a bad gopher problem I'd be busting that out this season. Not so eco friendly, but it'd get more use out of any garbage bag I've used before.
