I have tried the volcano, and it is quite nice, but it doesn't look any different than what you have concocted. Which is ingenius by the way. lol. Only difference is the volcano base, otherwise that valve you have is exactly the same as it is on the volcano. Exactly! And it takes longer to heat up, and I'm sure it draws more electricity than your heat gun. I would rather spend the 2 bills on your method, as opposed to spending the 4 or 5 bills my buddy spent on his. Great, great make my friend. Keep up the good work.

it is an actual Volcano bag and valve kit. i just saved on the heating method. i knew the whole "volcano" thing was a mark-up sham. i think it works amazingly but it's definitely a price gouger. i can roll a cool piece of decorated cardboard around my Makita and call it a "Volcano". maybe i'll even make lava come out ....... I've opened my volcano and its just a ceramic heat plate that pushes air. I'm sure ur is the same. What i really what to try is heat gun to the bowl of a bong, I wonder if that would be any good. Glad to see ur enjoying. Have fun.

people do that a lot. they sell a bong/heatgun package at my local pipe shop. comes in a nice wood case. small suitcase actually. double perk.

ehem, as I was saying, hail fdd. I've wanted a valcano ever since I've hit my friend's. I just don't have the kinda money to drop on a new one. People tell me I should just get a different vap, but I'm just too hung up on the volcano's BAG, I think it's so tight.

the scanner was left behind by a previous "tenanat". i plugged it in for shits-and-giggles. i'm not really paranoid. i was told that scanners are a bad thing. the DEA doesn't like them. they group them with guns and meth. i was told this recently by a few different lawyers. so now i'm paranoid about having the scanner.

Wow. This is unbelievable. I may just have to try this. Are there any drawbacks compared to the brand-name volcano? I certainly can't think of any. Well, besides looks, but that's just silly. I was also thinking this would be safer to have sitting around (college dorms...). Any idiot knows what a vape is for if they see it... but a heat gun? That would just confuse people.

How long does it take to heat up?

Oh, and why the Makita? I just quickly searched around and there are products that appear very similar and cost as little as 35 dollars. Any particular reasons why you chose that brand?

I've been using one of these heat gun vapes for 4 years. Mostly I use a Vapor Monster for individual vaporizing, but when I want a bag, it's the heat gun. Mine has an actual temp setting, and I set it at 340. My Vapor Monster is set at 260.

Anyway fdd, I watched your video and it appears that you are filling a bag with smoke, and exhaling smoke. I would say that your temp is too high, and you are creating toxins in your vapor. A Volcano bag will fill with a vapor that is almost clear, just slightly cloudy. Try lowering your temp, and see if you don't get a smoother vapor, and you won't choke so much.

Also, have you tried a second or third bag from the same bowl? You may be surprised.
