This is my finished gsc. It's great weed that smokes nice but has no cookie or mint taste at all so who knows what it really is. 'Twas a clone from craigslist. Really good stone though

Looks mighty tasty supchaka! Ok so DAY 10 of flower. Here's some more pics, the stretch has definitely started, they must be liking their Bid Bud. I'm gonna have to start twist tying down some of the growth in the middle of the screen as I've got absolutely no where to put em laterally.

End of DAY 12 flower just after the lights went out. Everythings looking real good, nice and green and no blemishes anywhere. Power went out again the other day for like 4 hours right during the light cycle, talk about stanking up the place, I tell ya, those carbon filters work wonders when they're actually on! They should be budding up real soon though, and when they do it's gonna be epic.

Day 14 of flower. Under the canopy is looking nice. Not too long before I trim the rest off below the screen. I managed to get a relatively even canopy from all the training, I think I'm just gonna let em go at this point, don't want my buds growing IN the screen! Anyway, I hope to bring you all some baby bud shots real soon, stay tuned.

I just started a GSC seed and expect to see a tap root tomorrow. I am looking forward to taking it all the way. I've been trying to decide whether to DWC or Hempy bucket with her, but I am 90% leaning towards DWC.

Welcome biglittlejohn, this is an exciting time for you! I personally would go with the DWC, it's relatively easy to dial in, especially if you have a constant read meter, and the growth rates are simply explosive once the roots hit the solution, I think you'll be happy you went that route if you do. What seed company you manage to get your beans from? My girls are from Cali Connection.

DAY 16, not a lot has happened since the last pics went up but they're definitely still stretching, still no buds though! I'm gonna wake up one morning real soon here and it's gonna be like Christmas all over again. They are currently at 5.9 pH, 950 ppm, and 67 degree nutrient solution. Right now I'm rocking AN's Connoisseur and Big Bud. Don't think I'm gonna push em past 1000 ppm, I simply do not want to risk burning the shit outta these glorious girls, that would be a shame and a half. Anyway, I'll bring ya'll some more pics when they start buddin up.

Great looking setup. Curious to know at what conversion your ppms are ate (.5 or .7)? Looking forward to seeing how it turns out, all the best

Thanks canna! I decided not to mess around with any half-assed setups this go around and go all out, and so far I'd say it's paying off. For my next go around I'm gonna slim my setup down to two sites, I've only got two girls going now and they're taking up the vast majority of the tent. 4 girls would be too much and hey, being able to use half the nutes I do now would be great, that shits expensive! But I do believe my nuta-dip tri-meter model 202 uses a .5 conversion factor. I also use their standard reference solution which is 1000 ppm to calibrate the meter.

Hey man, thinking about what you said about future grows and only going for 2 plants in your ScrOG to maximise space: you're in a 4x4 tent yeah? (as am I with 4 buckets), but looking at your ScrOG net, it doesn't fill the space (what dimensions are you working with?) and what distance have you got between buckets? I'm running metric, so my tent is 1.2x1.2M, buckets spaced 300mm apart with 150mm around the edges and look to build a 1.2x1.2 ScrOG net (so each plant has approx 2x2 feet (600x600) square to grow. Do you think with your setup that going with a larger net would have helped?

So originally when I planned out this grow I was thinking 4 plants would be perfect. I had two die on me early on when they were just little bitty seedlings and another just never really took off (I ended up cloning her out) which left me with only two plants. But I'm kinda glad this happened because both plants are over 3' wide at this point and are just gonna get bigger, there simply wouldn't be enough room for more plants in there. If I rotated the RDWC system clockwise so the control bucket was at the opening of the tent I could have fashioned a screen that went all the way from side to side, which is what I'm going to do once these girls finish. I only vegged my girls for 43 days so I certainly could have bumped that up and really filled the screen out completely, however, as I have not scroged before and this was my first time growing the girl scout cookies strain, I wasn't really sure what to expect out of the flowering stretch so I played it safe as to not have an out of control jungle in there. Right now my buckets are about 18" on center (stem to stem). I think for the next time as I will only be running two plants, I'm going to place the buckets at least 1' apart. I knew when I started this scrog that I was gonna get some serious lateral growth after I topped em but man these girls are burly! Some of the side arms are quite honesty larger than the main stems I got outta my last organic soil grow, just goes to show what a powerhouse growing system these RDWC setups can be. Anyway, today is DAY 17 of flower and preflowers are finally starting to form, little pistils are popping out all over the place and the final bud sites should be showing themselves within a day or two. Exciting times!

Funny I'm going to do a aero grow and a hempy grow with my gsc in about 2 weeks

Thanks lemon! I figured I'd try and get as much info up on here as possible so other people growing the same strain have at least one reference point. I by no means claim to be a master grower of any sort, but things have worked out well for me this time around and I'm more than happy to share the knowledge I've picked up along the way. Looking forward to a strong finish though, I absolutely cannot wait to see these girls all budded up. Judging by how strong the stems are (and when I say strong I mean rock solid) they're gearing up to handle some serious bud weight, the anticipation is killing me..

good to hear its going good mate. hahaha think i have gone a little over the top on mine, and hope i can keep up. i have a 2m x 3m space (well thats going to be the size of the scrog net when needed) i got 6 x 600w cooltubes doing its own sq metre. 6 large totes with 2 uk cheese in each. when i seen that you were doing gsc i just but 2 tiny seedlings into one of the totes with the 2 small cheese..... so under one 600 i have 2 cheese and 2 gsc if that makes sense? i have ran into major problems though, while i was filishing off the rdwc i needed the pumps i was using in the dwc/aero cloner so the cheese ended up with root rot...... i put them into the rdwc with perfect water temps and room temps ect. i tried hitting them with roots excellerator by house and garden and some h2o2. 2 days later tiny difference so i just got a pair a of scissors and cut off all roots 1 inch below net pots hahahahaha. i hope it dont kill them....... thats when i thought after using root stimulator and advanced revive and some hydozime at 0550 ec (i have the same metre as you but its the 204 or 104???? that messures in ph/ec/celsius) i thought IF the cheese recover, by the time they do the gsc would be at the same stage hopefully.
your imput would be greatfully recived Dsa.

I don't have a lot of experience battling root rot so I'm not 100% sure what to tell ya. How far along were the plants? If they were young and didn't have a mature root system I would imagine they'll recover given the correction regimen you've done. That being said, overall plant health and yield probably won't be optimal. But certainly they're going to need some time to recover from their surgery so the GSCs will surely catch up. But hey, if the cheese look like they aren't gonna make it, germ some more GSCs and go that route, they're great growers given the proper environment.

That's going to be one massive screen though 2mx3m! Are you going to fashion some sort of walkway down the middle of the room so you can reach all the plants stems? How else would ya pull em all back through the screen to Scrog it out? That is unless you've got some seriously long ass arms.

Btw, over this past summer I grew some straight organic Blue Cheese (Blueberry x UK Cheese) that stuff was potent, cheese is great, so I hope yours turn out!

hahaha no, arms are average lengh. i will have room to walk a complete 360 around the scrog net once its up so im hoping i'll be able to reach over and under a metre from all sides to get to them tricky spots, with out busting a leak hahaha. i went for the 40mm push fit tank connectors because its in my attic i just didnt trust the uni seal/o-rings holding 400-500 litres above the ceiling whilst i sleep hahaha.
as for the seeds i got them from cali connection 6 fem. 4 spouted, one died and one no show. going to put the other two in coco and just veg them out as mothers maybe.
im using hps to veg, do you think the seedlings will handle the light? i have put a plastic bottle over the two of them just to take some of the rays away and act as a propergater until they take off.
