hey guys. this is my first grow and its gonna be a perpetual one. im gonna do ~3 plants at a time, and since i dont have a lot of room and theyre regular seeds, im gonna be doing 12/12 from seed. i know its not ideal, but im gonna see how much i can get by doing this.

i had a nice plant flowering, but last night i was drunk, dropped something on it and decapitated it  i repaired it, but it didnt work. i swear she had the sweetest smell when she was bleeding.

since i was really upset last night, i germinated another seed for the hell of it, so for the first time, ill have four plants at once.

i have 6 ~20watt cfls and a fan in a closet. 3 are 2700k and 3 are 6500k

i also have cherry tomatos, basil and a dill clone that im hoping will grow. theyre taking forever to sprout though.

post to subscribe and tune in! any suggestions are welcome as well. thanks for check out my grow. grow in good health

i dont know why i forgot to post the one week update here, but here it is. this was for 11/14, one week for 11/7 seedling and 5 days for 11/10 seedling.

week one update

theyre not growing as fast as id like, but remember i only have them under 12 hours of light per cycle. so instead of getting 18*7= 126 hrs, im getting 84 hrs. i think im also overwatering.

somehow, one of the 6 tomato seeds i planted sprouted. yay! it broke through a crack in the earth in one of the shitty mud/clay hyponex mixes, but i transplanted it fast to some good soil.

im having no luck germinating the basil seeds directly sowed in soil, so im trying the paper towel method. the beans look a little soggy. is this ok? will they still have a chance?

also, one of my plants, the older ones, is drooping and i have no idea why. its getting the same attention as my other younger, smaller sprout. im hoping they exit the seedling stage very soon! they germinated quickly, and hopefully they finish their seedling stage soon.

so the one planted on 11/7 is 7 days old and the one planted on 11/10 is 5 days old.

i realized that ive been watering the soil too much. plants growth slows and droops if roots arent forced to stretch and search for moisture. exteme overwatering can even case vegetative necrosis. they are doing much better now, you wil see in week two :)

Basil needs a very warm medium temp to germ. 90-95 degrees is optimum. Constructive enough for you.

By the looks of things you should learn to tend your own garden. And stop spouting crap about fem beans and things you obviously have no clue about....

one of my basil germinated! ill be posting a two week update tomorrow! i have 3 more cfls, i think im gonna buy 3 more socket adapters and get some more power in there.

i just watered my baby cannabis yesterday, and that one is drooping..again and i dont understand why. i did let her soil dry out and everything, and i only watered her with 1/2 cup of water.

also maybe you can be of some assistance. do you know how much energy a cherry tomato (in the summer ill be doing beefsteak outside) and a basil plant eat up?

WEEK TWO UPDATE

i just installed 3 more lights. i mean business now
devious.gif
i have a total of 177 watts and 11820 lumnes.

all the plants are doing well. their color is healthy looking to me, but one of my plants is still drooping. its been drooping its whole life. its growing, but i know its not right. what could be wrong? there is no vegatative necrosis at all.2012-12-22_00-33-46_742.jpg2012-12-22_00-33-28_584.jpg2012-12-22_00-34-08_433.jpg2012-12-22_00-34-14_723.jpg2012-12-22_00-35-08_509.jpg2012-12-22_00-36-53_645.jpg

WEEK THREE

two weeks on the tomato plant. she was growing faster becuase she was watered correctly. i think they like a bit more water.

i guess the containers are holding lots of water, and over watering was still the problem.

i let the babies get bone dry, baiscally neglected my watering schedule and ms droopy is back to life! shes smaller, but shes growing good now and not eating up her leaves so fast.

over watering was still the problem. i water every third day i guess..

the stems are shedding. is this normal?

other plant i thought was a basil was another tomato :cuss: i moved he/she out of the room.

look how the droopy girl is eating up her feed leaves quicker and the two bottem veg leaves.

getting some ACID (paradise sour grapefruit diesel) seeds soon i hope. yay

WEEK FOUR

wow..they both turned out to be males i think. i broke down and bought three feminized paradise acid seeds (sour grapefruit diesel)

i am going to plant them right now.

that one damaged plant is doing fine. shes ~5 weeks into flower. too bad it wont yield that good.

tomato is also doing fine. its on 3 weeks today.

i will be vegging these acid seeds for one week, and i will also be keeping the water level lower when the plants are babies.

2012-12-31_12-59-33_643.jpg2012-12-31_12-59-38_591.jpg2012-12-31_13-15-26_411.jpg2013-01-03_15-28-57_538.jpg2013-01-04_01-13-38_124.jpg737021_507720232582611_881980188_o.jpg

so..the tomato just entered flower..and its growing like crazy. i guess thats right tomatos flower in four weeks. im gonna need to transplant it asap. it grew like this in literally one sun cycle, from the four week update on the 1/4/13. it was 3.5 weeks old then, it poked its head above ground 12/13/12.

what puberty will do to you lol. should i pluck suckers off them to make to tomatoes bigger? everyone suggests yes, but my dad said let it just grow and see what it does.

cannabis was also starting to show me flowers, but both babies turned out to be males -_- (thanks for the help from some good guys on here to distinguish, becuase i dont want to throw a female under my deck by accident!)

i have two feminized acid (sour grapefruit diesel) germinating in some soil right now. the soils much more airy this time around, like a starter pallet, so i hope they grow even better this time around.

ive topped the male plant during flower to see if ill regrow itself.

(the tomato and the 5 week flowering cannabis plant loved their fish emulsion. i see spots on the buds now where seeds could sit, they are swelling like crazy. tomato had starter mix and one fish emulsion entire life. the flowering plant had two fish emulsion since she started flower, plus starter mix. i want her plump. :D

okay so, here we go. starting over becuase i got two males :/

i still have a nub of a plant that will be on its 6th or 7th week of flower as of 1/6.

i have a tomato plant that just started showing flowers and is entered its stretch/puberty. this plant broke soil on 12/13 and will be four weeks old on 1/9. i transplanted it today, becuase it grew almost 1/3 its size over night!

my feminzed acid seeds were put into the ground 1/4 and they are breaking soil today! so 1/7, today, is the first update on two paradise acid seeds (sour grapefruit diesel). it took them both 3-4 days, and i planted one fat end up, and one pointy end up. i guess it didnt really matter, they oriented themselves.

i will be using potting soil (with coco and perlite) and i will mix this with a "shake n bake" soil starter. the soil starter is composted manure, bone meal, feather meal, potash and beneficial fungus and bacteria.

i have a total of 177 watts or 11820 lumnes

I was goibg to veg for one week, but after comparing my tomato plant to pics online at 4 weeks, it looks like its doing real well. I hope my og grapefruit diesel follows this trend

working towards it. i finally have my soil right and my watering right. i think these babies will do it. and im not sure stress causes males, becuase you see that nub of a plant? it was stressed to death (literally) and it turned out to be 100% female.

the acid seeds are feminized (grapefruit diesel)

i put them in the soil on the 4th, and they broke ground with a 1-2inch taproot on the 7th.

p.s. i am just documenting here, so if you want to discuss, can you please go to my "how much longer" thread? i truly appreciate it.

just watered with 2oz of water cause they were bone dry. theyre both reaching for the light. yes! waiting on their root system to develop, so vegetative growth can begin. none of my plants ever reached for the sun like this in the past. i am excited.

new journal, week one

hows it going everybody? so its been 7 days since my new grapefruit diesel babies broke earth. with 11,820 lumens, and only 12 hours of light per sun cycle, they are doing ok. they are still seedlings though, laying down roots, and havent entered the veg stage, which kind of upsets me, but i know they will enter veg soon and then growth will blow up.

tomato plant is opening its flowers, pollinating itself. its 4 weeks 5 days old today.

i also planted some basil and dill seeds, and they all broke earth, but i decided to only keep a basil this time around. it broke earth on 1/8

the flowering nub is almost done. i know its not pretty, but i hope the smoke is great, and holds me over to other harvests. id say its on week 7 or 8 of flower.

the tomato plant was grown on 12 hours of sun, so i hope my cannabis sprouts get to be this big. if they do, ill be a happy, becuase i have a bunch of seeds. i will sow more cannabis seeds into earth every 4-5 weeks, for a perpetual, bonsai sea of green!

WEEK TWO

flowering mutant is 9 weeks into flower today.

acid plants are 2 weeks old today.

basil is 2 weeks old today.

the mutant plant is taking forever, im just about to cut it down since i havent smoked anything in so long. trichs are cloudy, but none are amber..goes to show how long things take when conditions arent good its whole life. its also a mostly sativa (i think)

the diesel sprouts are looking even better at 2 weeks than my last batch (that turned out to be males). you can see how the one acid seed that was smaller as a seedling has two smaller bottem leaves, then when they entered veg, they started growing at the same rate.

should i
harvest the mutant early? im tried of waiting, and my will power isnt that strong.

Crazy looking mutant you got there, looks like indica to me judging by the thick 1-bladed leaves. I would let it go 1 more week before chopping. Nice tomato plant too!

tomato is 6 weeks old today, planted on 12/13 i thought it was older

diesel seeds are 2 weeks 3 days old. not showing me preflowers yet, so theyre still vegging out even under 12/12 from seed.

im starting the flush to harvest the top thats stuck in the ground. shell be 10 weeks into flower on the 28th..i wanna pull it. shes all cloudy but the pistils are still white..why?

whats a good size flush for a 1/4 gallon container? i just read that you can test if the sugar content in the plant by breaking off a branch and tasting it. if its sweet or bitter, its not flushed enough. it should just taste like water. im at all cloudy trichs (i think) young and in her prime to mate, so should be real potent. she just smells sweet, thats the only smell i get from here. wish i knew what it was, random bagseed, looked sativa i think judging by when it had fan leaves.

cant wait for acids to finish. last 12/12 plants showed me sex in 3 weeks.

here the tomato at 6 weeks old

WEEK THREE

thanks majek, appreciate it!

flowering mutant is 10 weeks into flower today. im getting tired of waiting for it to finish. im only giving it a half a week, maybe one more week then cutting her down.

both acid seeds are 3 weeks old today. im seeing some female preflowers on one of them. broke earth 1/7

basil is 3 weeks old today as well. broke earth 1/8

havent fed anything to the acid or basil. they still have plenty of food from the super soil.

2013-01-28_10-06-53_11.jpg2013-01-28_10-06-43_973.jpg2013-01-28_10-06-28_908.jpg2013-01-28_10-07-04_219.jpg2013-01-27_23-22-15_144.jpg2013-01-27_23-22-01_365.jpg

here goes the clone experiment. no hormone or anything..kind of sad i had to sacrafice a limb.

i did rough up the small stem that went into the soil.

should i cut those two leaves off that are sitting in the soil and get the stem deeper? whats better, more stem in the ground, or more leaves?
2013-02-02_14-44-42_138.jpg

whatup guys? heres the FOUR WEEK UPDATE. acids are 4 weeks old today, as is basil.

clone is standing up tall this morning, even with the heat of the lights. i ended up making a hormome out of willow bark/twigs, and the clone loved the acid and the hormone. i might even feed seedlings with it to encourage root growth.

im cutting the mutant tonight. its 11 weeks into flower today, tired of waiting for it to mature. it doesnt have good roots. no ambers yet, but oh well. i put 6oz of water into it and it drains out like crazy. waiting for the soil to dry out futher. RIP

majek, you were right, the mutant is an indica i think!
