They sell other ph testers for like $8, hope that one works out though. I'm surprised you can manage to keep that 1000w cool in that space, wish I could do that but it's been getting warm in San Diego, looks like I might need AC...

i had just a 4" canfan puulling on the hood and thought i would need a portable ac. i found out they run at 800W plus also and i knew my plugs cant handle 1800 watts a outlet. so got 3 more 6 inch canfans the valueline this time. it runs at 72 -75 now for the 18 6 cycle im running right now. i hear ya i used to live in Burbank and its doesn't get exactly cold there ever. Bayarea is fukn mid 70s low 80s top this year.

So should I add another fan or should I add AC to my room? I can easily get a portable AC unit for my room at under $100 on craigslist, but I wonder if it would cost me more to run that in the long run...

I might pick up a digital ballast today, the other one is an older Hydro Farm one and runs really hot, I'm wondering if that is helping keep my room hot too

Looks like your ladies could use some nitrogen. What kind of nutes are you using?

havent yet had a good chance to feed them and watch for what they want, i finally got the hood to stay cool this week and noticed they were lovn the temp and MH finally. so im gona feed them this week, im testing out the seaweed root excel with foiler spray and every other week

i sit my ballast a 1000w MH/HPS outside the tent on a piece of concrete and it seems to not give off any heat except for direct touch. i kept all the heat generating shit out of the grow area. it might be a little challenging for ur set up tho.....u have a tent right? i gota take some bongrips its 10:46 and im not medicated.
are you venting the light into your room?

thats my exhuast and intake on the bottom. its a little ghetto but its gona get me some dank ass indoor. the 6 inch duct is from hood, 4 inch from canfan and canfilter and another 6 inch on intake. im smoking some hogs breath and fire og :hump:
