Hey am currently growing Lowryder no.2 outdoors, its my first time and its been 22 days since I planted the seed. It has been going really well as i didn't expect it to last this long due to weather ect.
I have a plastic dome over the plant since its been planted as i water it myself every 2 days and it keeps in some heat as well.

just yesterday some spots on the leaf has changed to a purpley/brown colour. i did some research and this is to do with the phosphorus being locked out from cooler temps.

the weather was amazing for a last couple of weeks with sun all day. But the past week its very cloudy and rains a lot.

At night the lowest the temperature would drop is to 10°C (50 Fahrenheit)

and during the day its between 14°C (57 Fahrenheit) - 16°C (61 Fahrenheit)

Is there anything i can do to help the plant out as i cant take it inside. Would need to be outside.

Extra information:
6 litre pot
soil: john inns no2
I also have added perlite 40% - 60% soil
also have added a squirt of baby bio for herbs

Any help at all is appreciated :D

If I were u I would take it in doors and get a grow room set up the temps in Northern Ireland are poor for most part and even if it does survive the weather ur yield will most likely be affected even if u do a cupboard grow or cabinet grow with cfls

I'm growing lowryder2 in Ireland have you tried a greenhouse? Mine have been there since I started there 2 weeks into flower now they loved the greenhouse helps with the shit weather

unfortunately i cant with family always around :wall:. But i always have the plastic dome over it and it does the seem effect cause there's always moisturiser on the inside.

what ill do is stop using the baby bio for herbs nutrients and see if it gets any better. next time am watering them ill take more photos and give you a shout, you seem to know what your talking about and you live near enough from me.

Thanks

Ditch the domes. All that moisture and cool temps are just asking for mold/fungal issues. The plants growth will just slow down during the spells of cooler temps.

50F is low and you can add P with any commercial fertilizer. Use it at a weaker rate than what it says on the package. the cold shouldn't kill the plants. But it slows down growth a bit. will it be getting warmer soon? good luck. loved the emerald isle when I was there.
