    Best alternatives to maxi line?

The 3 part Base/Calnit/Epsom type fert would be my choice. Everybody makes it now, Jack's Masterblend, Southern AG, GrowMore, ICL...etc. I would just use whatever is local and cheapest.

    Masterblend 4-18-38

Progressive Grower has a location in Islandia, I use the one in Wareham, MA all the time and they rock. I call ahead and they build the pallet. Then I pay cash and they drop it on my truck. Soluble - Progressive Grower

    MEGACROP?

After the 6 weeks of nutrients is used up, treat the mix like any usual peat soilless mix. Water with your nutrient solution and aim for 5.6-6.2pH. You can periodically check the runoff or do a slurry test. ICL is the big player in EU. You might find substantial saving if you can source their...

    Agsil and CalMag ppm Confusion

200 ppm is a good base for calmag. For AgSil, basic maintenace use is at 150mg/L. That yields about 30ppm Si and 50ppm K. If you need additional buffering the AgSil will do the trick.

    Yellow between veins

Looks like it could be very hot soil as well.

    Ideas for killing smell

I would do something that looks like typical yard work but has a lot of smell. Something like mulch with fresh cedar and then spray the whole area with some cedar spray used for chests and closets right before they show up. If shit gets dicey, remember this inspection is based on their housing...

    How powerful is my light!?!

Could be the other usual culprit using LEDs, low soil and leaf surface temps. Low transpiration and reduced nutrient uptake. The light is not really the direct problem, but can contribute. You were correct to move the light up, sick or weak plants will not respond well to intense light. When I...

So what rights are you radicalized enough to give up?

I personally think the biggest obstacles to safety in the USA are the 4th and 5th amendments. Imagine if enforcers didn't have to worry about things like reasonable suspicion, probable cause, due process, and unreasonable searches. The fine men and women of enforcement agencies at both the local...

Has anyone had bloods taken by uk police???

It's like most states in the USA. You can refuse the field tests, preliminary breath test, walking lines, visual perception and all that bullshit. The police need enough probably cause to make the arrest before you are required to take a blood test, so dont help them in the field by complying...

What kind of dimmer to get?

Most pots have the actual resistance on them like 10K or a 3 digit code in the part number. The 3 digit number is the first two digits then 10 to the power of the third number. 252=2.5k 502=5k 103=10k 104=100k ...ETC

Noticed my Led flicker a couple of times

You're probably hovering right around the threshold voltage for that boardset. Most people run them on the 54V drivers. I would max out the voltage trimmer on your driver and see if it eliminates the flickering. If it still flickers your options would be to run cooler, add cooling to lights or...

    Jacks Nutrients Feed Strength?

I've used it to veg cannabis and for container herbs, never went over 1.3EC and everything was dark green.

Few ideas to get around the heating issue with LED lights.

Before I just decided to keep my HID lamps for winter grows, I looked in IR lizard heating. They don't use much power and it all gets used as heat. A few extra watts could be used to raise temps on leaf surfaces and aid in transpiration.

    Newbie Here

That's what I finally settled on. I collected rainwater and ran everything on 3 part fertilizer with 1/4 sprayers last season. All the garden veggies, herbs and the devil's lettuce loved it....except for the tomatoes, the N was a bit high.
