The shoebox looks awesome bro. I'd poke a make a few holes on the lower sides for airflow when their still wet to fight mold. Make them big enough for serious air flow and cover with tape to adjust, kind of like a weber grill.

Your hairs look fairly brown- pretty close. Wouldn't be bad at this point IMO. Best way to check is with a scope. If you see an amber haze about the plant, it's done. If your area is starting to frost up, I'd say cut soon though.
