I have used the paper bag method and Bobby is dead on with the harsh taste thing. Buds taste 100% better when hung to dry! In a paper bag they tend to absorb the scent of the bag. Ruins the natural taste of your yummys.

well it is way too early for that plant to test anyways, 40 days....if you must taste and you cannot resist wait till 50 days to pluck a tester nug. I cheat sometimes and take a small nug from the middle of the plant, best place to test from.

Harvesting too early will also cause plants to retain the chlorophyl scent and taste longer and sometimes the smell never goes away after a premature harvest. Did you take them down early by any chance?

FDD do you find it easy for you to read the plants readyness with the pics taken with the hps on? or is it easier to view the details of the buds in either natural lighting or with a flash? The reason I ask is because all of the pics posted that have the hps blairing orange light makes it...

That's what I was thinking too. I have taken a tester nug and tried it, she tastes real clean, sort of earthy but smells like grapes. It still has a bit of the chloriphil scent when clipped. Thanks for lookin.

Good. The plant that I had pm with got cloned to shit. I gave cuttings away and I kept some. The ones a gave to the neighbor did not bring to pm with it. He never had an issue with pm which if it was systemic his would have it too.

I recently did that with a hijack clone. Used male pollen from a chem dawg. Only got 4 fat seeds though. Harvested the clone about 3-4 weeks ago, do you think the seeds can be gremed yet?
