point taken. thanks I read somewhere that the intake hole needs to be twice the size of the exhaust hole... I got a 3" PVC elbow for my intake, should I go bigger?

thanks. so is the 4"er enough, or should i get the 6"? the idea right now is to install the fan inside of the box, into a pvc reducer to a 3 or 4" 90 deg elbow. not too sure if they have PVC reducers big as 6" though.

so are you going to keep the lights fixed, and move the plants around? Ive got a 4 socket fixture, and I was going to raise and lower it. Im just trying to figure out the best way to somehow connect the fixture to some chains, and I guess hook the chains up to some kind of eyelet or hooks...

i made my cab 4x3x3 and then realized it was just to fuckin big. so now its 4x3x2(depth). the folks at home depot start laughing everytime they see me come back in with more wood to get cut down again. im over the shame

you mean a bigger cab? I was gonna go with 5'x3'x3'. Too small for just a few plants? I'll cut a hole towards the top of the box for a fan, and I'll cut a vent(x2 45 degree angled tube) on the bottom for airflow. hot air rises, so that makes sense to me. though according to my girlfriend...

I like the idea of t5s for veg, and hps for bud. would a 2" 2 bulb t5 set up be enough for 2-4 plants?
