Because if you go soiless you have a better chance of surviving heat. And this is only for the initial set up if you can't wait for the temps to be stable and just have to grow something. Too many newbies go hydro not understanding the basic needs of any growing thing and end up with brown...

I have limped through with a couple extra air bubblers under the roots and heard of guys freezing PH adjusted water and adding a block once a day when temps get higher.

Oh yeah, just some advice for next time. Build your room and run a crop with a soiless mix next time, until you get your temps dialed in correctly... then go hydro when its temp is controllable. My room never gets above 72 and res is always about 64

Your water should be about 65 degrees and no more. If it is more you have a res heat problem. Move your res out of your growroom or buy a chiller.
