Its been a long while since I posted and I wanted to share Pics of a simple and very effective type of Aeroponics... FogPonics.
I'm just showing pics not giving a detailed how-to. I'll update the pics later when the current batch in it pop roots.
A 5 gallon bucket and lid. Laid...
Its not just overfeeding its that what you are feeding it is not the correct pH. You have deficiencies caused by lockout.
Flush as advised but also look at the fact that the 5-1-1 fish emulsion isn't enough by itself.
Assuming you can also get the 0-10-10 .... Mix 1.5 tsp of the 5-1-1 and 1...
While you can take clones in flower, the later it is in flower, the harder time they have. The poor plant has to survive long enough to change hormone profiles THEN root THEN re-veg.... it's ok in a pinch, takes longer sometime a LOT longer. I've also found that if it has any tendancy to...
I routinely take clones that are 8-14" how big is she? Did you re-trim her with a razor just under a node before you dipped her? Have you trimmed and reduced the leaf surface area so she doesn't loose all moisture? Is she in a humidity dome, even a ghetto one?
Fish water is RICH in nutrients... make sure to check pH though. If you want to stay organic & super cheap.... top the soil off with some used coffee grounds for some Potassium. If you have eggshells, crush some up, mix em in the coffee grounds, wet it with fish water untill damp and let it...
You could for sure do Hempy buckets... but then its eaither a manual feed regimen and drainage issues or set up a drip feed system. I use and love Hempy but still recommend Ebb & Grow or similar bucket system.
Next run try feeding/watering them in at between 5.8 - 6.2 pH and remember both standing water and mixed nutrient will creep in pH given a little time. So if it's 6.0 when you mix it... it likely won't be 6.0, 8 hours from then.
You can afford a $35 pH meter and the ref solution, some distilled water for storage (only need the cap part filled) and about $20 for pH UP & pH DOWN.
I say it because when you loose plants due to pH shock from shitty city water it'll cost a LOT more than the simple investment & steps to...
Your biggest tool is learning all you can before you start. If you wanna save the cash learn how to MacGuyver your own equipment.
I was actually trying to be a lil more ironic than sarcastic but each of those statements is true. Every type of growing has its benefits and pitfalls.
Will a $50...
Ebb & Grow + Lucas + calmag + hygrozyme + Drip Clean + Bud Candy = Noobie Success....
well after you learn the basics... get the PPM & pH meters.... have proper enviroment and temps.... Use Distilled or RO water, Have proper lighting, don't get bugs or PM... don't pinch a tube or blow a...
