Query regarding House & Garden in Coco Coir

Cheers. I was planning on lowering their recommended dosage as I’ve used other nutrient brands and have followed the same principle.

House and garden soil line results

Hi. I am new to using the House & Garden lineup for coco coir and was seeking assistance in their measurement application. The H & G nutrient feed chart states their recommended nutrient strength EC/PPM based on the specific week of grow. I’ve attached a copy of this FYI. My question is are...

    Possible nutrient issues

I think I’ve figured out the issue but won’t really find out until tomorrow or possibly next day. EC/PPM of run off is quite a bit high so I’ve basically flushed with 1/4 nutrients PH 6.0 which has now very much lowered the run off EC/PPM

    Possible nutrient issues

I’m growing in coco coir. Coco is essentially considered hydro, so should remain 90% wet at all times

    Nutrient burn?

From a glance it looks like a phosphorus issue as it looks like you’re in vege still. What is your EC/PPM reading at?? That would be your best way to accurately find out and correct the issue before it gets worse. If you’re growing in coco coir it’s a pretty easy fix, soil is easy too but...

    Possible nutrient issues

Hi. This plant is one of several indoor plants and seems to be the only one with issues showing signs in the leaves. These are planted in fabric pots in coco coir and are currently in earlyish stages of vege. Last week I topped this at the third node (after waiting for a full 6 nodes to grow as...

    Mutated seedlings

I actually have already, just tossing up whether I move these outdoors as it is spring where I live. The shop was called Seedy Side of Town in Belfast. The seeds were all in their original breeders packets and looked well enough stored as you’d expect, but I possibly got an unlucky older pack...

    Mutated seedlings

I seem to have been having an issue with some Barney’s Purple Punch seedlings that I got from a dodgy shop in Ireland when I was there visiting. The seedlings took ages to sprout, then sprouted, a few died after that, one is all mutated like it’s topped itself with deformed first leaves, the...

Some seedlings not growing true leaves, stalled at cotyledons

I seem to have the same issue with some Barney’s Purple Punch seedlings that I got from a dodgy shop in Ireland when I was there. Took ages to sprout, then sprouted, a few died after that, one is all mutated like it’s topped itself with deformed first leaves, the other is stuck in the cotyledon...

    Best LED's for 2013

Ok thanks guys. Next question is which unit is better? The magnumplus2 (http://www.357magled.com/Magnum-Plus2_p_16.html) or the area51 a50-240 (http://shop.area51lighting.com/specials-and-clearance-/11-a51-240.html) in terms of power outage and absorbed lighting to the plants?? I'm looking at...

    Best LED's for 2013

Sorry if this question has already been answered throughout the pages of this thread... I am looking at buying a good LED unit which grows both vege and flowering. There seems to be a lot of good reviews on the Area 51 A51-240 so was considering getting one of these. Can someone with LED grow...
