    The UK Growers Thread!

Not sure if it's the intensity or the spectrum. But it's the light creating more anthocyanins. Wouldn't worry about it.

    8 week strain question

I have a strain of gelato taking 6 weeks. Problem is though, as frosty and sticky and aromatic as the buds are they're the size of peas. So it yields shit. Never seen anything like it before. The odd thing is though, the first grow with it I pulled 30oz off a single plant scrog and the buds...

Give me your ratings and receipts! Would love to hear everybodys favorite led brands?

Looks like the Tomahawk is getting a lot of stick on the par maps. I've literally not really been following HLGs progress. I'll always be a fan because they went above and beyond for me on a customer service front. But I wouldn't class myself as a fan boy anymore. I'd say there's probably...

That's another option too . One of the most honest guys in the game, makes great lights for very fair prices but will happily tell you if other lights outperform his own.

    6" inline for 2x4?

Well in those circumstances a 6" would improve matters, assuming you're venting outside and not just building up humidity in the room itself

    Are these fucked?

Maybe try dimming the light 25% and raising the temp to 83f

    Discolored top leaves

Its when you've flipped the growth accelerates and slow moving nutrients (less mobile) cant keep up for a week or two. Dont foliar feed any more at this point

    6" inline for 2x4?

If humidity in the source air is lower then yes a greater air exchange will lower it in the tent. If it's not, it won't. But itl also drop your temps. As a last resort a defoliation can help, less leaves, less transpiration, but only on big plants. But in all honesty, I'd be OK with 55%

I'd post this in the LED section or ask a mod to move it over. But you should have a look at what grow light Australia have on offer too. When you say run hot, you mean the heat sinks are hotter? You know that makes little difference right? A 600w led will give off the same heat as any other...

    Clawing leaves / stunted growth

25c is a low for veg under LED, I'd be upping that a bit. Especially considering its affecting older fan leaves first. If its not warm enough they wint transpire enough and absorb enough nutrients to make use of the light levels theyre getting. Which results in what appears to be every...

    Are these fucked?

Lowest leaves are the healthiest , so im guessing it's not lack of food but without information it is a guess. Medium Lights Temps Nutrients Ph Give us something to work with No point chopping them and starting again if you don't know why they've got this way, you'll just end up repeating the...

Building a smell proof room for growing

Yeah that's what a scrubber is. Its Recirculating the room air through a filter. The first question is. Is the an active air exchanged room /grow where the heat and humidity is removed from the apartment/ room ? Or is it a sealed room where the humidity is controlled by dehumidifier and the...

Fan setup & duration in tent

I think that's just them covering their back. Most people i think would agree that what causes an oscillating fan to break os the weak gear mechanism. I wouldn't do anything other than 24/7 personally. But if you want to let the fan rest because they say it in the manual then just have it...
