Thanks.cool article I was happy as hell I got 2 400w hps multitap ballast shop lights for 60 bucks total. included 2 light bulbs and 15ft of cord for plugins to 277. just rewired them to 120 and rocking with 800w for less than $70. needless to say the girls are very happy!!!

You dont need a magnifier. It is a nice item to have sometimes but definately not require. I harvest when about 75% of your pistils (hairs) are red/brown. I'd say you have a bit longer you are looking about 40% IMO so maybe 1-2 weeks. how long have they been in flower so far?

Nice job hitthis. I think some of your curling problems maybe soil related. I have always used plain old cheap potting soil mixed 50-50 with perlite with good results. No experience but have heard the mg soil can be kinda harsh on young plants. Might be ok for older plants IDK. Just seems to me...

Thinking about starting a dwc setup. Question is 5 gallon buckets seem kind of large to me what would be the smalles size bucket would I be able to get away with? I found some 2 and 3 gallon square buckets for cheap. Would they be sufficient size? The 3 gallon are basically 10x10x11.
