Can anyone tell my why all my stems have this bubble at the beginning of the stem. Just a little curious if anyone know the answer

I have a 4x2 grow tent with a 300w Vivosun light. 4 in intake and 4clip fan. Switching to happy frog soil when I repot for flowering to lower nitrogen and nutes seem to be where they’re supposed to be. I know the lst will prolong veg

My buddy started his sativa stain outside at the end of June and brought it inside a month after with concerns of the heat outside. His stems branching off the main stem seem skinny and the leaves constantly droop with no curl. Does anyone have any advice to give? Should he take it back outside...
