Want to Know If Your Plants are Finished?

Hypothetically speaking, how much longer would a bud that looked like this usually take to finish up?

Want to Know If Your Plants are Finished?

The pistils sometimes turn colors, its when the trichomes turn red and start to breakdown is when you have problems. Pistils will die if pollenated but what color they stay if any is all up to genetics. Normally though they turn and go back into the calyx near harvest during the swell.

Want to Know If Your Plants are Finished?

Yeah I figured that's what was going on with mine. I just pull them off when they turn and let the plant recover on its own. His buds don't look that old though. Just my thoughts.

Who's Got The Fostiest Buds? Let's See How Frosty A Bud Can Really Get?

I wasn't around for the 70s but I can't imagine it being entirely different from now. The bad was bad, the good was good, maybe the good was better. Considering that the genetics were more pure, but considering the advance in knowledge and technology concerning cannabis maybe its a little...

Want to Know If Your Plants are Finished?

I don't know what's wrong with his leaves, once mine get a few (3-5)weeks into flowering the leaves start shading and dropping anyway so I dont use those as any form of frame of reference. The bud just looks small to me, like it hasn't taken its full shape yet and has about a month before it...

how can i cure trim? does it cure?

I think the point of curing bud is to let all the extra stuff inside the denseness sweat out. The trim being as thin as it is I think would be fine once its done drying, seeing as though leaves are much smaller and thinner. No point really I would reckon. Please correct me if I'm wrong that...

    Fast Bud (Auto) Chop Down!!!

I don't think anyone was judging, asking questions you don't like is not judging lol. That shit just doesn't look like it was done. Those pistols all look alive and vibrant, I know that's no true indicator but I know that that plant looks like it still had time. And when you post pictures...

GreenX How to's... How to Water Cure (w/pics)

Very interesting 3 year old thread.... glad its been reborn so I can soak up some of the knowledge from you fine people. So you can use a food dehydrator to dry the bud after you water cure it? I take it that's because all the extra shit is gone and all that's left is callyx and water. Would...

    How Much Longer?

Absolutely they will. Id stay with the water if the indicas only have two weeks. I won't speak on Sativa though as I've only worked with Indica.

I would Love to Harvest Something Soon!

touche. I honestly never heard of monster cropping but after reading that I might try it one time. In his case though it doesn't look like there is strong enough side growth to take a budding clone from. That's just what I'm seeing and my perspective is sometimes skewed. It looks like they...

    help

Can't help but agree. I use a Jiffy Seed Starter Mix with plenty of water. Generally plant large seeds that don't pop under pressure from my thumb and forefinger. Germination is like anything else though, you'll figure out the best way to do it as you grow more. I'm learning more and more...

    Welcome New Members!

Hey guys. I've been looming in the shadows here for around eight months looking at pictures and absorbing information. I've decided to start contributing here and there now that I have a couple successful closet projects under my belt. I don't want to post pictures of anything quite yet...

I would Love to Harvest Something Soon!

I'd say that it's a couple weeks too late to take cuttings. You generally want to take clones as closely to recognizing the sex of the plant as possible. It is also a rule of thumb for me that once the plant stretches and hardens it should be left alone until it's done. Positive thing about...
