I no longer have prime so my orders have to be atleast $25 to qualify for free shipping otherwise the shipping is like $7. The last time i got gelatin from the store it was $1, so in my mind i cant justify paying 8-25× more.

No, the plants look perfectly fine. I only add calmag every so often because i use filtered water that starts with 0 ppm. This question was really more about cutting out just nitrogen, but im guessing that by the responses its a definitve no, and to keep using the complete set of nutrients

Im probably biased toward calmag. With my filtered water i add 5ml per gallon every water to replace the stripped nutrients that may have been in the tap water. It was a practice recommended to me and i have not seen any defiency or toxicity problems. But like you said maybe we should get more...

Why didnt you reply that to him earlier? And we never discussed what medium hes in or his watering/nutrients habits. Fairly certain hes in soil tho, which means any defiency he would see most likely started a week or two beforehand. I highly doubt he watering with manufacturers recommended dose...

True. But considering theyre using filtered water and manufacters guidelines probably take tapwater into consideration i doubt hell run a risk of a toxicity problem unless he really pours it on

Im also using filtered water on my current grow and throw in a dose of calmag every water. You have to remember that filtering typically strips away all the micronutrients that are usually in tapwater. And its pretty unlikely to give your plant toxicity with calmag

What medium were you growing in?

Question was third post, they believe they have a manganese or magnesium defiency and want to know if they should fix that before flowering. Plant looks fine to me tho, id just flower and water with some calmag, couldnt hurt.

Yes, since my ppm starts between 000 and 006 that 200 ppm comes after adding 5ml each of base a, b, and calmag to a gallon. So im guessing if i doubled the doses of base a and b id probably be somewhere between 300-400. Do you think I could add a pinch of the broadspectrum to get up to up 500 or...

Probably shoulve been more clear. Its powered nutes but its meant to be dissolved into water. So basically im wondering if i could substitute the broadspectrum for my base nutrients (or use it with them) for one watering and not get nute burn as long as i keep my tds at or below a certain number.
