    480 or 600w bar led for a 4'x4'?

Yeah, it's not a bad light by any means! I almost bought one but when I found out they were using D or Z chips (I forget, it was a while ago when I asked) and that the driver was no name brand and internal/fixed position, and that the bars are also fixed in place and that they are an overseas...

    480 or 600w bar led for a 4'x4'?

Eh, not that much of a hang up at all. Let me explain please.. It doesn't matter where the product is made as long as it is made well and using quality components. Gavita, Luxx, Grower's Choice, FloraFlex, I could keep going all day long..... they are all made overseas. No matter what you hear...

    480 or 600w bar led for a 4'x4'?

1000% agree!! Just check out the details and you should be good. Not like 5 years ago when 90% of LEDs were so terrible. Detail check list: Quality Components (LEDs, Drivers, Frames/Heatsinks) Par Maps Warranty USA company

    480 or 600w bar led for a 4'x4'?

I just did a simple 10 minute research on Medic Grow Lights. I contacted and asked.. What diodes do you use? Answer: Samsung LM301D. What drivers do you use? Answer: We make our own. So they use the cheaper Samsung diodes, like a lot of companies unfortunately. These lm301D are at least...

    480 or 600w bar led for a 4'x4'?

I don't agree with this at all. Yes, you MAY get more diodes with 8 bar lights, it depends on the model and the maker. But even with more diodes, if the wattage is the same with 8 bars as with 6 bars, you actually lose light penetration the 8 bars. Yeah, the par map of the 8 bar might look good...

    Grower's Choice ROI-E720 MAJOR FAIL!

To be frank with you, these lights are really awesome! I finished building out my first real room and just bought 16 more of the 650-Si model. Of course, as soon as I bought them, they released two new models, which I wasn't told anything about but whatever. I'm super happy with these lights...

What do you guys think of this led?

Damn. I read up into the warranty and after looking at a few other companies, 10% or greater seems to be standard. I was going to buy the Lux LED lights but their warranty is only 3 years compared to this company which was 5. The components, detachable parts and price is what sold me. Don't...

What do you guys think of this led?

I bought two of those EGL 650-Si for the same reason you stated. Same LED chips and driver as the companies charging $900+ for a light but actually affordable. I'm 4 weeks into flower and am pretty happy with my decision to try them out. So far, I recommend these lights!

What's the specs on that light? LED brand and chip count and driver?

    Grower's Choice ROI-E720 MAJOR FAIL!

I ended up getting 4 eagle grow 650si at the very last minute, they were on sale. Found them on freaking craigslist. They use lm301b, inventronics drivers and have 500 more chips than grower's choice, warranty, everything, so I was sold and pulled the trigger. Delivery was only $10 a light and...

How do I like my own comment? LOL

The death of the Grower's Choice ROI-E720...

Mammoth is all lies. Their PPF, PPFD and Efficacy are all lies. They are full of shit, just rebranding the cheapest lights they could find. They don't even both to actually oem anything. If they were real they would have DLC testing done. They don't. Because they aren't a real light company.
