I got one of the Apple Fritter Lumpy's cuts from them they had for donating to toys for tots on their Instagram. Came rooted in a solo cup and coco. Very healthy clone. They also offered to send me 4 cuts free from their upcoming drop for donating. Have had good luck with them so far.
I used a honey/cinnamon combo. Interested to see how it works and if there is any effect. I just dabbed the honey on the stump then sprinkled cinnamon on. The honey helped it stick better. It is an indoor grow as well so not many bugs around.
Can honey be used to heal wounds on a plant and protect it from pathogens?? I have seen honey being used as a rooting agent but I was wondering if I could use it on the cut of the plant as well to keep the plant itself from infection through my cut. I have some large stalks I want to top back...
Not sure, but with 15 amps I have about 1600 extra outside of the 2k I am running. I know there is in rush current on the LEDs but I heard the split second it does it won't trip the breaker.
Looking for some guidance on building a light controller. I was looking in to buying one but for my needs the market doesn't seem to have anything. I am going to be running one tent of 2x 1000w HPS and another tent of 2x 650w LED. They will be running off my 240v 30amp dryer line. I want to be...
When mixing the flora series do you add cal-mag before mixing in your micro, gro and bloom or after? I have seen GH state is as before and others as well but I have also heard it done the other way around with better results. What are your thoughts?
So 4x 600w meanwell drivers at 240v pushing 2400watts at the drivers I am pushing 10 amps. Is there an equation for the inrush current? I have read what I thought said was up to 70x!!! Pretty sure I read that wrong but it is where this journey has began.
Thank you again for all the help...
Is that by staggering the start times going 2 and 2?? Would the second set of two lights turning on be at risk because of the already power draw from the first two??
I am planning on running four 600w drivers on a 30amp 240v line. Not sure if that changes much. I was planning on running from a Powerbox 6000 right from the wall dryer line. I could add timers to two of the lights to stagger their start times. So it is only two at a time firing up.
Thanks for the reply. Have a link to any of the ones that work with LEDs?? Do you have any experience with them? Where do they install in the line?? Do I need one for each driver??
I am switching over to LED. Thinking of going 4x 600w of the LED strips from Kingbrite. They are run on 4x 600w meanwell drivers. I am running off a 30amp 240v dryer plug. I am learning all of the nuances about LED lighting. One of them being the inrush spike. I have heard about inrush current...
