I've done it with one of my mothers that was too big too flower. Just bent it over and kept it tied down. Flowered just fine and got over a qp. I'd just start pulling it down and go as far as you can without snapping anything/

Yes. But honestly, there's no good reason to cut off healthy leaves, especially during veg. Keep them on there, they produce glucose for the plant to help it grow faster.

Normal for me anyways. It seems like they lose some of that dank ass smell for a little while when they're drying. After curing for a bit in jars it should go away.
