I quit drinking sixteen years ago and by then I was on the verge of dying of alcoholism. People in AA highly disapprove of cannabis use but I think it helped me a lot over the years. Some may not be able to stay off the liquor while smoking but it never made me want me to drink. If anything it made it easier for me to quit and stay quit.
