how cold does it have to be to kill a plant

Think about what it’s doing to your plant. Your plant needs to use stored energy during dark periods to grow flowers. If it’s struggling to stay alive each night, cells rupturing and in constant state of repair, you may as well kill it as it’s already dying, and has no purpose left

    Light burn?

Are you making sure to follow VPD guidelines? LED lights don’t heat the leaf surface unless there are red diodes intermixed into the board, but even then the plant could be host to a myriad of issues if not following VPD chart while growing with LED. Not saying this is your issue. I don’t know...

    What's wrong with my seedling?

It could actually be the temperature of water you’re using, or temps in general. If you’re growing led, it’ll be especially important to dial in VPD. I find the plants really enjoy hotter climate (ie: 29°C / 65% RH). Don’t water too much. Water, and let the pot almost dry out before watering...

Do I need distilled water to germinate seeds

Depends on where you live. If you’re uncertain, use RO water

how cold does it have to be to kill a plant

Frost ruptures cell walls. At first everything seems fine, but during the night the plant is taking damage from within. The second night of frost will take the plant to critical damage. The third night, the plant is already beginning to die. Perhaps if you live in an area with shorter frost...

Mile High first grow - GSC - What do you think?

Any high power jeweller’s loupe is good, 40x is more than enough.

I have a jeweller’s loupe for this very reason. Nice tip

    LED Tent Venting

I vent into the room. And control temps and humidity by opening the window, running a dehumidifier, heater etc.

Seedling stage question - first true leaves turning yellow

Looks like nute burn. You gotta let the plant grow 14 days minimum before diluting a feeding.

Mile High first grow - GSC - What do you think?

I run cookie strains, crosses etc. I usually chop at day 75 flower. You wouldn’t believe how much fatter the buds get if you let your indica hybrids flower 75 days. The flowers pack on a lot of weight in the final 10 days of it’s life. And with cookies, depending on the pheno, you may not...

Light timer failed. Assuming I'll be okay?

If it was just three hours, you’ll be fine. But try to maintain the schedule you were running before the issue, the plants have a circadian rhythm and will most likely hermie if you deviate from the rhythm

Do I need to burp months into a cure?

I think the only way you’ll know if you have mold is lab testing, or obvious signs of mold which seems like you don’t have obvious signs. Sometimes locking the jars up too early can trap weird smells in the jars. If it starts smelling funky, it usually keeps smelling funky unless you catch it in...

How to know when to start flushing?

My personal way of finishing the plants: taper feedings down to lower amounts in the last few weeks. The last 10 days, I water twice and let the medium dry out. Clean ash every time. RH between 58 - 62% is ideal for dried flowers. Flushing isn’t exactly necessary imo

Do I need to burp months into a cure?

Once RH is stabilized and you’ve burped for around 2-4 weeks, the jars should actually remain closed. Hope that answers your question!
