    @xtsho 18,500 messages and most of them are you projecting your poor attitude onto other people you don't know and will never meet. Make some friends and maybe spend some time outside! You probably suffer from depression and there's nothing wrong with that but taking it out on others isn't cool.

    spider mites cant live in a bucket of water. Spider mites can and WILL stay in your soil until the next grow.

    If it's just a minor leak look into Liquid Rubber Concrete Foundation and Basement Sealant worked pretty well in my basement. Not perfect but much better than the constant running water every rain fall.

    sounds like you have an unfinished basement that needs to be sealed up. The outside environment is seeping in! to answer your question no your humidity will not be permanently stuck at 55%
