hey guys im starting a side dwc grow, i know im gonna need advice:weed:

this is my first attempt at dwc and i find myself adjusting the ph everyday is this normal? it starts out at 5.5 & by next day its already at 6-6.5, im using pure blend pro grow at a little less than half strength

ill prob have like 4 or 5 plants in a loose media hybrid ebb and flow setup, how much room do u think the roots need to grow w/out strangling each other or clogging drains, also is it really safe to trim roots and wont it effect yield? my space is small that is why i wanna keep the resevior...

just bought this fan and customized it to work in its box sort of like a can fan to exhaust heat out of grow cab, all for $11, and some duct tape, i was going to buy 2 4" computer fans from radio shack but they were $20 a piece, plus i had to make a ac/dc adapter

i got heat probs too, dont know what to do my grow cab is 3'W x 1.5D x 5'H im running 8 x 26W 6500K CFL have a fan and my windows wide open its 32F outside where i live and my therm rarely dips below 85-90F unless i completly open the grow tent, i think my mylar is keeping too much heat in, they...

what do u think of the spots u think its from ph issues or maybe the water spray could have dissolved some fert on the leaves, the mix i bought is not soil but equal parts sphagnum moss, perlite, and vermiiculate

its a premade promix and im not adding any nutes for a while i want it to use up the fertilizer that came in its first soil it was home depot potting soil

i know this seems dumb but im new. How and when do you transfer germinated seeds to rockwool w/o stressing or killing them? also anybody try the Sure to Grow media yet, know any good techniques for germinating?
