From what i know, using a freezer is common practice with curing however it normally comes in the later stages ie when you're not going to be going for your pot for a month or two (up to a couple of years even). I would think that defrosting and continuing to cure would be ok, just toke softly...

Haha all good bro. You still having problems or have you sorted it? Depending on the size of the cutting you take to clone from, you could get a 100 CD CD Case (one of the ones with spindles in the middle) and put your little pot inside that and then have that as your humidity dome.. Open it...

My plants are solidly that colour throughout. Not just hints of purple, solid purple stems. I have read elsewhere that sulphur deficiency can cause this though, let me know if you manage to fix it.. I've also read that a lot of strains have hints of purple on their stems, maybe that's your strain?

Ok thanks for that, I thought it was the problem. I leave the light on through the night and turn it off during the middle of the day. Might buy some sort of temperature type heater thing that maintains a constant temp if I can afford it.
