Oasis Aeromax 2.0 grow medium cubes.

https://oasisgrowersolutions.com/collections/horticubes%C2%AE-aeromax%C2%AE Anyone tried these new horticubes from Oasis? They seem bit darker in color. Not sure what version 2.0 means. Haven't even seen 1.0, but I've been using the original cubes.

Anyone using MaxiGro/MaxiBloom & dealing with pH issue?

After my last bit of MaxiGro mix was used up I switched to MasterBlend tomato and mixed my own two part system. Works so much better.

Fixing root rot: Hydroguard v Southern Ag Garden Friendly Fungicide

2ml/gal to 12ml/gal rate still way way way way less bacteria Cfu than 1ml/20gal of GFF. You'll have to dump in several 1L bottles to match.

Fixing root rot: Hydroguard v Southern Ag Garden Friendly Fungicide

In regards to hydroponic applications, don't think there are any hard facts from actual scientific research yet comparing the different strains. If it does exist I would love to read it. Only thing we do have are anecdotal experiences. It is debatable how much more effective. Works for me with...

Fixing root rot: Hydroguard v Southern Ag Garden Friendly Fungicide

Hydroguard: 2mL/gal or 20,000 Cfu per gallon (amount on packaging) Southern AG GFF: 1mL/20gal or 500,000,000 Cfu per gallon (amount people post using) I had lots of gunk built up too. The solution is to use less SAG GFF because it is way way way more concentrated than Hydroguard. After I cut...

    Hydroguard or southern ag gff?

In the past I've bought 3 jug of Hydroguard from different retailers, all came expired well past the 2yr mfg stamp. It has a shelf life of 6 months after opening. AG GFF doesn't have a mfg date or expiration date. How do you know it is 1 year old or not? Dates starts when you open it? Read...

Anyone using MaxiGro/MaxiBloom & dealing with pH issue?

My water is 8.0pH, mixed in my MaxiGro nutrients, pH dropped to 4.3, waited few hours and still 4.3. Used a bunch of pH UP buffer to get 5.8-6.0 range, but 3 days later the pH spiked to 7.2 After a lot of fiddling and trying different things it turns out MaxiGro takes a lonnnng ass time...

    Hydroguard or southern ag gff?

Hydroguard: 10^4 or 10,000 Cfu per mL Southern AG GFF: 10^10 or 10,000,000,000 Cfu per ml that is 1 million times more concentrated in terms of colony forming units! Dosage: Hydroguard: 2mL/gal or 20,000 Cfu per gallon (amount on packaging) Southern AG GFF: 1mL/20gal or 500 million Cfu...

Fixing root rot: Hydroguard v Southern Ag Garden Friendly Fungicide

Is this just your own experience or there more studies or tests to confirm it's effectiveness? If there are I would love to read/view them. With regular diluted dosage I didn't have any buildup. Only the buckets I tried adding more than usual amount developed it. I'm not so sure the slime is...

Using too much Hydroguard or Southern AG bad?

20-40ml per 4gal is alot of SAG GFF. Is that diluted amount or concentrated amount?

Fixing root rot: Hydroguard v Southern Ag Garden Friendly Fungicide

Are you saying SAG GFF is not effective? Seems many people have perfect success with it. I just need to not use 10x my usual amount which is already plenty more than Hydroguard recommended dosage. After reading the entire 27pg thread and elsewhere seems using too much SAG GFF will cause...

Fixing root rot: Hydroguard v Southern Ag Garden Friendly Fungicide

Is using too much Southern AG GFF or Hydroguard bad? I put in 10x my usual Southern AG GFF dose into my reservoir and noticed the next day clear/gel like slime building up on my airstone.

Using too much Hydroguard or Southern AG bad?

https://southernag.com/residential-products/garden-friendly-fungcde-12x1-pt/ Many people use SAG GFF as an alternative. Bacillus amyoliquefaciens strain D747 which is comparable to Hydroguard's proprietary strain.

Using too much Hydroguard or Southern AG bad?

Normally I dilute Southern AG down to 1:20 water ratio then use 1ml per 4L. However, I read you can't add too much beneficial bacteria so I added 10x of my usual amount. The next day my airstones are covered in clear slime.
