Dyna-Gro Pro-Tekt contains potassium and 7.8% silicon to reduce stress. What is the thing about silicon, I keep hearing about it, but haven't used it. How does it lock the pH?

I might use Diamond Nectar, or black strap molasses.

Welcome R. I use GH nutes. Cal/Mag and Epsom salt. I might add a sweetener soon.

There are some lower, older leaves which have some yellowing and a few spots. The pH had drifted down to around 5.3... Rebalanced the pH to 6.0. The plant looks good this morning. pH is still 6.0
