    Hanging Round, OutDoor MA Grow

Thanks for the explanation! I’ve been super fortunate to have my drying room maintain the ideal temp and RH so I’ve just wet trimmed all the leaves off. I just wasn’t sure if there was a benefit for the drying. Thank you much! I’ll update some pictures tomorrow of my trimming. It’s harvest day!!

    Hanging Round, OutDoor MA Grow

I'm in MA also. I harvest tomorrow (10 huge plants). I'll be trimming all day. Completely serious question here, but should the buds be trimmed more in a wet trim? I ask because this year I plan to trim the same way as I did last year, nearly trimming off all the sugar leaves and getting nice...

Harvesting my crops next Monday, here’s where I’m at.

Beat the heck out of me! This is my 2nd year growing. Last year we got the seeds from a neighbor. They got the seeds from their crop. They’ve been using seeds from their crop for years. I really wish I could tell what I’m dealing with. I’m using the seeds from last years crop. Next year (even...

Harvesting my crops next Monday, here’s where I’m at.

These smell amazing! Dark, frosty and more amber on the trichs. I’m going away for a week next Tuesday and I fear the New England weather while away will damage them and I won’t be around to correct. Very excited to see how this years crop cures up.

    How close is this?

The buds are so dark and rich looking. Trichomes appear to show some amber. It looks and smells delicious. Thoughts?

    Massachusetts Late Season Blues

i mean don’t get me wrong, a bunch of my crop still stands considering the volume I’m growing but some of the best branches I had snapped. Pictures below. Most of these visually look ready (brown pists) but the tris could have used another 1-2 weeks. I’m sure they will still smoke fine.

Eat a huge dick MA! Today’s wind storms ruined my crop. Branches snapping left and right. I was like 2 weeks away from harvest.

I’m on the coast also. About 7 miles from ocean.

    How these trichomes looking?

Last year I lost 2 plants in a single night of a frost mid October . My heart hit the floor that morning. So this year I’m building a temp greenhouse 10ft tall, 10 feet wide, 20 feet long. I have 6mil clear plastic. I’ll cover all sides and tops just over night. Your in MA, tonight will be fun...

    How these trichomes looking?

Thanks! 1 month won’t work here. Mid October is my cutoff (frosts start around the ). I’ll go as long as possible with my temp greenhouse for nightly drops.

    How these trichomes looking?

3 weeks I can handle but barely. I live in MA. I feel like I started a little late this year but it is what it is. We start risking frosts around mid October. I’m actually building a temp greenhouse right now for them just in case temps are going to drop hard. The plastic would only cover at...

    How these trichomes looking?

Thanks!! It’s my second year growing (ever). Last year I did well but this year I did more research. I still have a lot to learn for next year.

    How these trichomes looking?

Thinking 2-3 weeks. Started indoors mid may. In the outdoor soil June 1st. Buds are looking fantastic but still some clear tri’s.

Lots 2 full plants last year to a single frost 1 night (all bud rot over night). I’m in the process of building a temp greenhouse right now just to cover them up at night in the event of a sudden drop in temp. Most of my plants are 9ft+ tall. Not risking that again this year.

    Massachusetts Late Season Blues

Geez, I'm located in Ipswich (on the coast) and after a single frost last year I lost pretty much 2 entire plants. I'm fearing the frost this year as I have about 2 weeks left (3 ideally).
