I have. Trim leaves do have a bitter taste, particularly in comparison to the buds they were pulled from. However, they also have resin glands. If you don't like the taste, make hash from them.

They look ready, or you could wait until more of the trichomes get cloudy, if you want it to be more sleep-inducing.
