I too am very interested in soil test results and also how ppm's on a soil test correlate to a hydroponic nutrient solution. The last tests I had done on soil I had in beds that was producing great plants was so far off of where ratio's would be for a typical nutrient solution that is has me...

Shouldn't you be getting plenty of mag from the Dolomite? What is your process for leaching your soil before reuse?

Where do your EC levels typically land at your target ppm's?

When talking NPK ratios (3-1-2 etc) are you talking about the ratio of the elemental ppm's or the "NPK Ratio's"? If the later, are you correcting for the P205 and K2O reductions?

What are your thoughts on the K:Ca:Mg ratio?

Dennis is a stellar dude. Definitely recommend for any UV lighting needs - weather growing plants or curing UV resins :peace:

Unfortunately / Fortunately Hydro stores are all but dead for the most part in Cali. No more over charging for things like LED's but also no local place to run and grab a few things. What are you spending on bulbs over a couple years in the space each led would cover?

"Eye Hortilux, a division of EYE Lighting International, ceased operations in mid-2023. The company announced it would wind down due to supply chain issues, rising costs, and a shift toward LED products, which made continuing their HID lamp business unsustainable. They stopped accepting orders...

But for practical sense with the state of energy costs unfortunately Metal Halide is from a Bye Gone Era. :( Trust me, I also held on till the end with HID. Hortilux throwing in the towel and stopping production of all of those lamps was the tell tale sign where the industry is headed :peace:

I would investigate EC of media, not nutrient solution :peace:
