No, molasses is pointless in hydro unless you are using some kind of organic based medium. Molasses feeds microbial life in the soil (or other organic medium i.e. coco), not plants. Plants cannot break down the carbs that make up molasses.

You trimmed off WAY too much. Its alright though. Just get everything pulled back under the screen. that shit can grow around in circles until you get the screen filled up, it'll just take a little longer now. I'd get your T5's down about 2 inches above that screen too.

trim the buds up before you hang 'em up or at least before they dry completely. the leaves will shrink around the buds when they dry making em harder to trim.

Sounds like a bunch of backward people. I prefer sativas, i like to get shit done while I am smoking and not get stuck on the couch. The first time i did SSH i harvested about 3 weeks too early and it was junk (well pretty mediocre). Hopefully it will be a lot better this time.
