make sure you pull the hot air out of the top of the room, hot air rises.also you could run a tube from a near by window to the air in let at the bottom of your box

same one i use, good pump and a good price. but you could probly use a 60 gallon aquarium air pump for just 1 res. if your going to do more then 1 5 gallon bucket or rubbermade get the AA but they are alot louder then the aquarium pumps

tds and ph are vary importent to waht your doing i wouldnt wast your time/$$$ trying to use a cheep meter that is unreliable and giveing inconsistant readings it will drive you nuts. if you can pony up adn get a 200-300$ meter i would do it but a 20$ meter is still better then none.

no it wont do the job. i have a 60gallon tetra whisper and to works fine for 2 18" air stones but any more and it would be pushing it.you should look for a nice commercial grade air pump like active air or some thing like that. i would look in the 40-70 L/H range.
