Just carefully separate the runt and grow it in a separate container. I've seen grows with jack the ripper, which has twins quite often, and the runt turns out to be the keeper.

I've heard of bulbs exploding, actually happened to a buddy of mine. Lil glass shards went everywhere, burning straight through the plants leaves. Don't know what causes 'em to explode, but it does happen.

Get the hps lighting sytem with a metal halide conversion bulb. LED is good but the technology isn't quite up to par yet, if you ask me.
