Exactly how mine looks. Do you leave he hygrometer in the jar for the rest of the curing process? Just a little nervous the plastic may affect the bud.
So I finally got all my jars down to 55-60% RH, and have one final question: do you guys leave your hygrometers in the jar for the entire curing process? I'm going to store majority of the haul for a while just wondering if the plastic may affect the bud?
Thanks again for all the help !
Exact same for me I'm in southern ontario, my rooms about 70% and can get it down to 60ish with a dehumidifier. The bud can get to around 60 but overnight it gets closer to 70
Thinking maybe the humidity of the room is affecting it. I've taken the buds out to dry for 6-12 hours twice now and barley no change. Their all close to 70% which is the same as the room I'm burping the jars in. Tried putting them in my cellar but it seems worse. Do you know what rh% the room...
Unfortunately I don't have that much lol. I got four small jars with a half Oz each inside. About 2/3 full. And one big jar with an Oz in it also about 2/3 full. Ain't selling but I wouldn't have a problem spending 20 bucks. Where did you get yours? I was just afraid the big digital ones not...
Yeah the conditions of the room it's in may be effecting it. But what RH% do you usually aim for? I've read different things. I'm thinking anywhere from 50-60% should be good. I've got one jar all ready to go at 58%. The rest are all around 60-70% some sitting at 62%
Awesome! Thanks for the help! Does it usually take a long time for the meters to set? Left it in over night and the dial was at 70. Opened up the jars about two hours ago and no change at all.
Little blue meters right?
Hopefully this will be my last post this season. Everyone here has been incredibly helpful though.
As of now all of my bud it's dried, trimmed and jarred. Crispy on the outside, sticky inside.
I bought some hygrometers but I think they're junk. It was hard to find any that would actually fit...
Thank you! You're very helpful around here. If I keep burping it it will fully dry out tho right? I'd just like it to bust up a little easier. Seems real sticky/damp
Thanks for the advice guys I've been cutting and trimming the buds the last two days. Busted a little nug up last night and it was still a bit damp inside, is that normal?
Hi all!
Cropped an outdoor on Friday, trimmed er up and been hanging in my garage with a fan on it since. The buds are dry and feel crispy with a bit of stickness but the stems aren't fully dry yet. I can still feel some dampness in the stems. The tiny skinny stems just barley snap off. Should...
